Title: Which strategy, if housedge is always 1%?
Post by: membersound on Dec 29, 10:02 AM 2013
HI,

I'm wondering which betting strategy could would pick on a game where the house edge is always 1%, and the following rules apply:
- variable payout. Can be self adjusted from 1.01x bis 9990x.
- always 1% houseedge, no matter which payout factor is chosen. Which means: payout 10x will lead to a winning chance of 9,9%. Payout 2x will lead to 49,5%.
- no table limit (beside ones own).

Would you chose a winning or losing progression? Or would you at all chose a progression like d'Alembert?
Would you bet on equal change (payout x2), or adjust it? Would adjusting make sense if houseedge is 1% anyways?

Thanks for discussion :)
