Title: Is this fair?
Post by: MrJ on Sep 18, 01:55 AM 2010
I know the casinos can do whatever they want, I got that. When I play during the day, there is a guy that comes in and plays big. He'll drop 10K like its nothing, probably 5 days a week. I'm not saying he loses 10K but he's willing to. Anyways, (the guy hates smoke) when he sits down, floor runs over and puts the sign down, non-smoking table. When he leaves, the sign comes off the table. What if a dollar chip player did not like smoke? Would that sign still come out? NOPE!  Ken

Most of the places here in Australian are all smoke free.
Even the roulette tables.
Cafes, pubs, clubs, even out side dining.
Soon there will be no place to smoke.
Ohh well.
Glad I don't waste my money on those things.

I believe its fair, as long as its for anyone who requests it.

Passive smoking is not nice !

Ken ure US yeah ? I thought you had no smoking in public places ?

Thomas, we are the same in the UK. Ure not even allowed to smoke at a bus stop anymore or bar or cafe etc....nowhere public. Basically in ure own home or in the wide open.

I hate walking downwind from someone who smokes Urrrrggghhhh  >:(

"I believe its fair, as long as its for anyone who requests it" >>> Ok, but its not. High rollers only get that benefit for them.

Yes, I'm in the U.S. Here in my state, the casinos are the only public places you can smoke.  Ken

Mine too.

It's bad enough smelling the smoke in other player's clothing.

In my country you can not smoke at public places even at bars and casinos. Those who want to have smokers at their premises have to keep a special smoking zone which has nothing to do with non-smokers. It's a mess. I smoke myself but do not want casinos to become a chimney.
