Title: Getting to grips with 0/00 wheels
Post by: nottophammer on Jan 30, 05:26 PM 2014
wikipedia shows the blanc brothers introduced the single zero wheel (1843). This known as European wheel, the old euro wheels went to America( read that bit in a book ) is it true?
Now does anyone have any idea why they changed the layout. Does the 00 wheel having the next mat number opposite it like 1,2, or 5,6 and so on, is that a disadvantage to the casino? going clockwise from 00 we have 27,10 then two odds, then two evens and so on till the single O, then its the opposite of 27,10, ( 28,9) then two even, then two odd and so on, any disadvantage?
So what made the Blanc brothers decide to change the wheel layout? any thoughts, but at the end of the day i dont think it makes one iota, except having that extra zero helps the American casino
