Well GARNabby perhaps you should with Interpol ?

Just did a bit of a check on the Philippines, Imus where Maryp. lists here home location is a little South of Manilla around 8miles/13km.

A local check showed 27 casinos in the Philippines. To keep things in perspective money wise the current exchange rate is $1 USD buys 44.26 Pesos.
So for many people like unskilled market shop workers they get about $1 equivalent per/hr on a good day & maybe $45 - $50 for 6 - 7 days work (if you can get it). I know this from a friend of mine here in OZ who's looking to marry a woman who does that type of Market sales work.

The 27 casinos site said bets ranged from 0.50P = about 1cent to 500,000P  = close to 11,300USD. Maryp's $8p/hr x 8hrs (1 day) = $64 & is more than a weeks pay for many local people. I noticed that the freelancer site mentions that Maryp's status as "no work in progress" & no projects completed".
So it seems that this forum maybe a springboard for some sought of casino/roulette story ?

Getting a Bank Roll together & playing Roulette or Cards at a Philipino casino for most there is simply unaffordable. Playing on line is the same. Home computers & the internet are luxury "rich peoples toys". Most use internet cafes as that's all that's all they can afford. You've only got to look at the on line dating sites where thousands of local girls/woman "market' themselves in the hope of hooking a 1st world guy to transport them out of the 3rd world into what they perceive as a transformed lifestyle.

My friend showed me some of the personal ads, the standout thing for me was so many girls 18 - 20 stated the sort after man could be anywhere between 18 & 80. Maybe there's method in the madness as an 80 year old ain't "gunna" last long in the hands of an 18 year old ? He could be "pushing up daisies" at <90 & the young widow is still only 28.

I don't agree with your view at all ati. If Marypauleen had disclosed she was on a journalistic journey here then fair enough but she didn't/hasn't ?

Her interest in roulette is only academic. After all how much can you learn & write about authoritively in "5 minutes" ? I'm still learning about the game after 14 years.

Talking authoritively about it means going to the tables & experiencing all the highs & lows that the game presents. The wins & the heart breaking losses that a player often gets.

To do that costs BR money & my guess is that Maryp. is a long way off from having a BR to play roulette ? That's the reality of 3rd world life in the Philippines.

Haha! You're all great and smart detectives..

Well, I am really that lady you can see at freelancer.com. Do not worry, I am not here for any writing or publishing purposes.
As you can see, I do not have any work progress there; I am just urged by my friend because she is a close friend of the owner of that particular website.

You know, I am really an explorer, like Dora LOL.
In fact, I am a travel addict, and wants to discover things that are not related or similar.
My grandparents are into casinos even they are 70+ age now. Haha. I am trying casino games online and will try playing locally soon.

Of course, I do not want to go here and there without knowing anything, so I've decided to get an account here and participate.

Just to introduce more about myself, I am into 3D designs and Multimedia Arts. I have a band and I know how to play the entire musical instruments. I have been playing gigs and participates on band contest since High School. I like going out during the night time and explore local events.

I hope you can understand. I am here to join and be socially active. Not for any other reason.

Any other issues?  ;)

Yeah. Thank you. I am a boyish type of lady and there should be no worries. I am not sensitive. :)

BTW, thank you! I want to learn something here, particularly playing roulette but at the same time, make new friends.  ;D

Maryp. - If you read things properly you should have noticed that it was GARNabby alone that was the "great and smart detective" ?

I've only made comment from the link GARNabby provided.

I would be interested to learn of your betting MO (method of operation). Do you plan on playing roulette ? Are you aware there's two main types of this game. One being the true random live dealer spun wheel & the other is RNG (random number generator) computer generated play. Some forum members, including myself, believe that RNG games "CHEAT" the player & so rip you off = sending you bust & so advocate only to play the live dealer games.

It's not only RNG that's hard to beat, the live dealer wheel is tough too mainly because of the random nature of the results.
Go onto Google & you'll find plenty of sites that explain how RNG slots function. RNG roulette & card games have been developed off slots ideas.

RNG is legally allowed to "CHEAT" as officially (gaming authorities worldwide) RNG games are Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs). Slot machines are RNG too and numerically & earnings wise a casinos biggest money spinner. Generally with RNG games as long as the payout %s are met then the casino can take your money. Slots do this gradually like as in 1 step forward you win a little but after a little while it's 2 steps back. So slowly but surely your money gets "milked" until all or most of your credits are gone. Sure not everybody loses, some lucky players win a jackpot here & there but the majority always lose.

What casino games do your Grandparents play ? Do they win more than they lose ? RNG games, slots included generally entice people with their comparitively low minimum play values at both real casinos & on line. Usually far less than live dealer games.

The most important thing with gambling is having an adequate Bank Roll (BR) to cover your bet plays/progressions or flat bets. What's your plan with that Maryp. ? This relates to what I've already mentioned in an earlier post re: the unaffordability gambling factor for the average philipino person.

Is your band on youtube? I'm also a hobby musician that's why I'm interested.
Traveling is also a great thing, but very expensive. Once I become a roulette pro I'll be traveling around the world....  ;D Dreams, dreams... :)

You are also a smart detective because of your great background check about my country's Casino facts and eventualities.  ;)

Honestly, I am a newbie on playing roulette and that is why I am here, joining discussions to enhance and practice the skills so that I can gain profits. I am trying the 50/50 and its reverse version. I am into online RNG roulette but I am not aware that cheats are allowed there.  :ooh:

Actually, my grandparents is not open about their casino hobbies to us (sorry). Well, as they seem more happy than sad after their visitation to Casinos, I think they win more than they loose. They are playing real online casinos in our local country, as well as in other countries like Hongkong, Singapore, and US.

In terms of the BR, I do not have an estimated plan about it. Well, what I am doing is, making a specific note about how much I need to spend and set my limitations.

I hope you can make an advice for me about that and hopefully I can learn more further from this forum.

Thanks!  :)

Hey!

Well, I don't know. I didn't upload anything there but I am not really sure if anybody who took recordings during gigs made it to youtube.
How are you doing as a hobby musician? :D

I am not that rich but I really love to travel so what I did was to discover what's hidden in my country. I think, you also must! :)

I'm Hungarian, a small flat country so not really exciting. Last year I had a chance to spend a little time in  Thailand, and it was amazing. My dream is to explore the whole Southeastern Asia. I think I'd even move there if I could make enough money online like many of the poker players do. Have you ever been to Europe?

Okay. :)

Well, I must say that Southeastern Asia as well as my country are great places but I really want to move out of here because of certain unwanted eventualities that always happen yearly. I really want to go to Canada, especially in Europe! Travelling there is one of my top dreams!

I think we should swap places. I'll live in your house, then you can have mine here! LOL

I am overly interested with the European Culture and I am inlove with its surroundings.
I had few cousins and other relatives who moved there for work. :)
