Title: How much does greed affect winnings/losings?
Post by: CallMeRed on Jun 07, 10:05 AM 2014
Because I'm kind of new to this, I want to pick everybody's brains (thanks in advance). How much do you think that greed affects players online and in real world roulette (or gambling in general). Do you think the odds of keeping your winnings go up if you walk away as soon as you hit decent profit, without hoping to get more? How much would this affect the stats?

I have a friend who plays Blackjack as a serious hobby.  He said that since he started using Brett Morton's money management philosophy, his weekly take-home amount has gone way up.  Read my summary of Brett's book to find out about his sliding scale.  I think something like this is a plus for any kind of gambling.

Just search the forum for Brett's name and it'll take you right to my post.

Thanks GLC, you rock! I appreciate the guidance. By the way, do you really look like George Clooney or are you some kind of evil twin?
