Title: A Different Dozen 3
Post by: ignatus on Jun 04, 10:10 AM 2015
This is played with 3 quads.

Trigger: Wait for half a column 1 or 3 (high or low) to repeat; Now place 3 quads in the same high or low on the two unhit columns

These are the 4 columns to repeat

column 1 HIGH 19-34
column 1 LOW 1-16
column 3 HIGH 21-36
column 3 LOW  3-18

When you got a repeat (without any other number hit of that same high or low, two hits, not necessary in sequence!) 3 quads are placed;

for an example column 1 LOW (1-16) repeats, now 3 quads are placed 2/6, 8/12, 14/18.

example 2. column 3 HIGH (21-36) repeats, now 3 quads are placed 19/23, 25/29, 31/35.

Progression 3 Quads Negative 1 1 2 3 5 7 11 16 24 36 54 81 122 183 275 412 618 927 1291

Highest step in progression was step 9 (24u) from my tests

played with 5u bets.

Gentlemen,
After a quick look at the charts,

I think many experts here noticed that, the line pointed up, with one or two horrible drawdown, at the initial stage.

Thus , many will say, wait for major drawdown, then, only  bet after the initial drawdown....as the line up,up and away...

hi P.A, well first off i said i played with 5u bets, second if you calculate with that and look at the charts worst drop was 650u - 650/5= 130. so if i had played with 1u bet worst drop would be 130u. I really don't think that is so bad at all...

Had my first loss, and it was a very bad loss. Yes, playing with negative progression may not be good at all. :(

Hi gentlemen,
I think,
many of the Ignatus chart show upward and downward and then upward, up,up and away pointing to north.

Thus I think, whatever  method Ignatus play, but preferably FLATBET,

we play as if we play 'TREND FOLLOWING' in stock and futures market.

Set ZERO-line as threshold.

do not bet,
wait and see where the line pointing to.
if the line then move upward, we bet upward, and cut-loss when the line move down below ZERO-line, after we start bet.

Of course we stop at first profit target.

If the line after zig-zag over the Zero line, then we suffer many time cut loss process.

Thus we may lowered the threshold line,
say to -3,-4unit as cut-loss
and go in when  the line move up again...
over the threshold line.

And if the line move up strongly , we just keep on betting, with a cut-loss threshold follow closely behind.

eg. won 30u, cut loss if move below 26u.

what u think?

This strategy will do best with series/single, as we always see, the line moves UP, or down, to +-30u, the zig-zag. the move up or down +-30u, and zig-zag...
as we understand the line will move nearer to zero after long term.

You're right P.A flatbet is a better option.

I played this a little different: -after a half a column-repeat i place 3 quads as usual, but now with 3u also on the opposite High or Low

if lost, pick a new trigger (half-a-column repeat)

Progression -none- Flatbet

First test was played with 25u bets
