Title: maths question help please
Post by: icashbot on Jun 08, 10:59 PM 2015
Hi all

Please can some one help me with this stupid easy question thats got me stumped as i am crap at maths

Roulette
Euro wheel single zero

I placed flat bets

i played 14 numbers each spin at 0.75p each number

14 x 0.75p x 350 spin
Out of 350 spins i won 123 times

What is my loss/profit
And if what are the odds

Thanks in advance

won 123 times
lost 227 times

so 123x22 units for wins
227x14 units for loss

2706 won
3178 lost

total -472 units

if unit base is 0.75 then you lost 354 worth of money (i guess its pounds)

hope it helps

Hi thanks for your reply
can you recalculate please
0.75p. I should get return of £27
As 0.75p x 36

Not 22

Question being
i place flat bets on 14 numbers straight each time
At 0.75p
14 x 0.75 =£10.50
For 350 spins.
Total spent £3765

Win 123 spins at each being 0.75 x 36

Total los profit

I just need a secound opinion ðŸ'

P.s thanks for taking time to reply 😊

If i am correct it should work out to be

350 spins at. 0.75p x 14 numbers =

0.75p x 14 = 10.50

10.50 x 350 spins = £3675 spent

Won 123 spins for ever win it is 0.75 x 36 = £27 as it is straight bet

123 won spins x £27 = £3321

total spins lost out of 350 is 227

227 x £10.50 = £2383.5

Spins won 123 x 27 =£3321

Lost £2383.5
Minus
Won £3321 = £937.5 profit

Please correct me if i am wrong thanks

Your calculation is wrong. The final result would be negative, as the profit for a win is not 27.
The payout on european wheel is 35 to 1, that means on a win your profit is 26.25 plus your original bet of 0.75 on the winning number is returned to you. And here is where you made a mistake, from the winning amount you have to take the 13 times 0.75, because you lost all of those bets.
So your actual profit after a win is 16.5.

lol exactly what I said earlier

@icashbot

to make things simpler calculate everything with a base of 1 unit, then at the end multiply it by what amount of money you used

on a win +22 units
on a loss -14 units

what if  icashbot deposits £10.50 in to the  icashbot machine or buys in for 42 chips, bank roll is £10.50.
icashbot places the bet and his balance is nil, the wheel spins and  icashbot wins, meter or chips in front of him is value £27.00.

Now profit is £16.50. on this bet.

So every bet wins at £27.00, so all wins should be calculated on that amount, like you calculate loses on the full amount of stake £10.50.

lol thanks for you input guys
a bit wiser

i recently done actual live spins on skyvegas airball    on 14 numbers at 0.75p each 14 x 0.75 =10.50 a spin straight bets for 355 spins
I won 132 of them spins see image on blog for numbers spun

But did not keep note of  my bank roll  :-[

What are you work outs on profit? Or loss?
Thanks ;)
