Title: 3.6% of my challenge complete!
Post by: come_on_melb_ole on Jun 13, 02:59 AM 2015
So here is my challenge. I am going to turn the $360 I made from selling my second hand beer fridge on eBay into $100K. Most people will say it can't be done but I disagree.

Today I achieved my first mile stone which was to turn my original bank roll of $360 into $3640. Not a bad effort me thinks. My second target is $10,000. I will look to increase my daily bank roll to $500 once I achieve my $10K mile stone.

Thanks for all the info.

I have attached my current progress chart.

I voted no in the survey

But not because I don't think $360 can be turned into 100 grand

When I see a small bank and big profits in a short time period I just think whatever method is being played is too steep on the progression and there will be a catastrophic event before getting to the end target.

I hope that success comes and that the bank can be split to help lessen the risk of ruin.

It's just that every time I see this scenario the player increases the unit value too quickly.

Sustained success is certainly possible but only under a few very confining parameters...of course big bets and a little lucky streak couldn't hurt either

For the record when I first saw the challenge my first thought was that it would be very difficult being that undercapitalized.  Although I still think there is an undercapitalization issue for the stated goal I certainly wish you the best.

The answer to your poll is yes. 360 can be turned into that amount. You can win the lottery. Or a scratchoff ticket. Or you can be lucky at the table

Anything is possible

Whats your method

I think it can be done, just do it slowly.  Double BR first then up the stakes.  I started with $500 and turned it into $250,000 in 2011 just playing Blackjack on Bluesquare Casino before they banned all Australians.  It was RNG as well.

I think it was either called WagerWorks or Boss or something like that.  Only other casino that used it at the time was Boyle Casino.

It can be done, but with a huge luck. I wish I could just turn my couple hundred into 10k :)
At the recent online roulette tournaments I've seen many people can have incredible lucky runs. I still don't understand how can someone turn 10k into 100k in maximum 2 hours of play, 1k table limit, and 200 on a single inside number. Even if I take the highest risks with playmoney, I lose my roll every time.
Anyway, good luck to you, and show some proof time to time. A screenshot of bankroll or something.

Hi Sam,

I have nothing to gain by lying, just having some fun and generating some positive discussion.

All,

I think it can be done because I never invest more than $300 per visit (currently) due to my current bank roll size. I have attached the details of my visits to date and you can see that I will be risking 8.24% of my total bank roll at my next visit, better than 100% when I first started.

Also, I am taking it slowly and I will not be increasing my daily bank roll until I have generated more than 10K. When I do hit 10K, I will take a photo and post

I believe that if i can win using $300 per visit, I should be able to replicate the same strategy with a $1000 daily bankroll. Ultimately, I aim to reduce my bank roll exposer to below 5%.

All the best!

Hi FreeRoulette,

I usually track and play double columns (& sometimes dozens) and when I lose I switch to either playing:

A sleeping single column with a 5 step progression (17, 30, 50, 78, 120)

0r

Playing an even chance bet with a 3 step Marty (25, 60, 130)

Once I win, I reset and start tracking and waiting for a trigger to bet double columns again.

When I try to recover a loss, I never rely on the same bet strategy. I look at the board and wait for what I feel may be opportunity and then attack it. This is a gut feeling and develops over time.

Mr. T

Is that the idea that will make you rich?

Hi Sam,

Yes this how I am currently playing, seems to working ok at the minute.
I like playing double columns.

I doubt that I will get rich though and I will continue try new methods on my journey. What's your favourite play?

Ended up losing $295 today! I had $5 left over and a $30 playing voucher which I put to work and turned itinto $310 over a two hour period. Profit for over two hours of play, $10. What a grind! Thanks Lady Luck, time for a sleep as I feel drained.
