In my humble opinion, Azim should be invited back to the forum.
He may have only been given a temp (so many days) ban, but he was so discussed with the sentence
that he has declared he wants not to post again.
He is a great poster, and a coder......useful assets around these parts!

Make your vote please.

First off, I lifted his ban already (10 days early BTW). Its his choice to come back, makes no difference to me, I dont beg. Curious, did anyone read his rants to me over at VLS before I deleted them?

All over the world it is the same:

active and creative posters are attacked by useless posters and when they get upset, the good ones are banned.
the disturbers can still do their destructive jobs.

It is a kind of selfdestroying behaviour of the forum-crews.

He knew the rules and broke them, and knew what to expect. Hes not a child. It's not complicated.

He is welcome back if he respects the rules.

Winkel, if any member is provoked, is it OK if they respond by breaking rules?

I half apologize to Azim but NO WAY 100%.

Quite a few foul language rants aimed at me.....multiple posts AND at two different boards. Geez, at the WoV board, you call a mod a "nut", its bye bye for three weeks.

I can underestand, that only breaking the rules is the adaquate way to answer. The rule-breakers must be answered politly is the wrong strategy. The only can be stopped by treating them their own way.

Look what "thelaw" is doing?. he attacks me in a thread where I didn´t even write a word. He  is attacking me for not posting "the whole system". Is he under your watchmode? No! But if I would react the only possible way I swear I would be banned.

There is no bias here in regards to who and who doesn't get a warning/ban, its all in your head.

I actually LIKE Azim, I really do. I am VERY non-bias in terms of warnings/bans. If Snowman/Caleb came here preaching his AP stuff, as long as he is NOT crossing any lines, let the guy talk his AP material. Would I endorse it? Nope but if he does nothing wrong, not a problem.

Winkel....take a deep breath and listen carefully please, you're wrong. That example you gave.....we (the mods) would have to delete hundreds of posts here based on your example. I for one dont like the ..."you cant win so why keep playing crowd", is it productive? No, I dont argue that. We have had quite a few past posters saying YOU CANT WIN and they would post it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and guess what? A warning, then a BAN.

We have also discussed the definition of ATTACKS and what a troll is? As usual, different definitions for different people. Steve is the TOP guy making the definitions. Us mods are secondary with follow-up definitions. Also, if you feel you were "attacked" in some way, there is this new thing called....PM.

PM a mod and see where that takes you, there is no bias here sir, nobody is out to get you.

It's just way easier to destroy something then create something.

I agree that there are some member here that only come here to destroy idea and never ever bring a idea.

This forum should be about creating idea's and brainstorming on what is a good way to beat the game. But as soon someone says he's got a good idea he will be attacked by a couple of people who demand proof. Why? Test it yourself and see for yourself and then come with solutions to fix the problem.

But that's just the world we live in now.

The other thing, I know *EVERY* roulette forum on this planet. This one (and VLS) is pretty much at the top, IN THE WORLD. Yes, if you are into AP material, there are a couple AP boards for you etc.

(I won't name other boards)......there are maybe 4-5 other roulette boards, nothing even close to this one in terms of size, membership, number of threads etc. and those other 4-5, are FILLED with "you cant win" and "where is your proof" guys.

People complain here? (lol) Try one of those other boards, you would never last and you can forget about the WoV board. You even mention a roulette method and you'll come close to a ban.

Azim is a good man and my friend. He loses his temper sometimes. Other than this he is cool and all right.  I told him his account is in tact and he is always welcome back. He just has too many things in his mind at the moment and needs extra time. Maybe he will be back. Maybe not. If anyone wants to contact him, i can help.

He is not mad at anyone by the way. He made peace with Ken. There are just some other things in his life he is busy with. I hope one day he will come back when he has more time and mood for this.

We all can make mistakes. Let's get over it.

Concerning Azim, it's not just about what happened to him in this forum. It's about other things in his life as well. If he had plenty of time and a lot of interest in those discussions i think he would be back pretty soon. But there are some other things in his life he is mostly  concerned about which make him decide what he decided at this point. He saw this just as a kind of sign that he has to spend his time on other things which are more important to him right now.

When right time comes i will try to bring him back here.

Moderators dont have time to read every thread, consider who said what, who started it, and whether or not a response was provoked. What mod do is see unacceptable behavior, and deal directly with the offending member. We are not judges for anything but checking if rules are broken, then enforcing. The rules are clear. If someone attacks you, dont attack them back or your attack may be all the mod sees, and you will get banned. Instead of retaliating, just tell the mod then you get the last laugh. But give precise examples of what was said that was breaking rules.

Please let's all just get over it. Big waste of time
