Greetings!
Well, it snowed in Oklahoma and I can't landscape and I'm bored so I'm back for a while. Maybe even a while and a half!
Anyone had a look-see at this method?
I've spent a few hours reading his post and looking at his chart and I can't get the two to jibe.
If anyone would like to join me in a study of this method, perhaps we could help each other.

HI BUDDY !!
Ken
Hello, MrJ.
Good to see you're still around!
each time an imaginary bet is won at step 1, i bet for real on the next spins until i lose then i revert to the virtual mode.
This is from Arte's post. Here is where I'm unclear. I read him saying that if he wins the virtual bet, he bet continuously until he loses. The he returns to betting on the 1/2 method until he gets a win on the 1.
IF that is what he is saying, I can find no example of that in the chart.
Anyone?
Sam

Hi Sam . . .
Welcome back, we miss your humor, at least I do.
If you can figure this out, just let me know and I will code and test it for you.
Cheers

welcome back two cat
Guys
It seems to me this is an adaptation of Parrondo's Paradox. Arte is playing two loosing games and claiming to have a winner overall.
Comments?
(Thanks for the greetings. I appreciate it.)

If you can use this method to reduce the overall variance, then you could use something like the
Penthouse progression + a strong MM strategy.
For MM you could use a basic
Martingale (move up on a loss = 100 units - 200 units - 400 units - 800 units). It's a bit aggressive, but if you can control the variance, then it wouldn't matter anyway.
The idea is to stack so many statistically improbable situations together, that to lose would basically be like getting struck by lightening!
Arte includes a progression--a quite limited one. Before I do any "tweaking", I will learn his method completely to see if he has anything.
Thanks....................
Sam,Artie seems to go virtual after a real win or loss. I spent some time on first page results. He does not keep going even after a win,at least on that page. He also goes virtual at the first start of the 9 cycle series. Sam a lot of tracking between spins.
As I understand it, he has broken it down into two games, each ruled by an attack of either two spins or nine spins. There could be a lot of tracking.
If he wins in virtual, the 1-2 attack, he bets for real on the second part of the attack. 1=virtual win then 2=real bet. UNLESS.....the 1 was the ninth spin of the nine-spin attack.
Any time he wins and goes ahead one unit, he starts the nine-spin attack and the two-spin attack at 1 for both. If he is not ahead by at least one unit and still has some spins left in the attack, he begins the A'lembert. He may go three spins before the nine-spin attack ends. (I found where he did it.)
I think it's worth playing a little...........

Tamino, thanks for posting it up. Make no mistake a big effort was put into this by Artie. He deserves credit for that. :)
