This is about scratch tickets
the following is the odds of winning $500
on a $5 ticket - 1 in 41,000
on a $10 ticket - 1 in 3,100
on a $20 ticket - 1 in 625
with $200 to go and buy tickets which would be wiser?
40 $5 tickets
20 $10 tickets
10 $20 tickets
??
what would you do?
im asking because im studying the odds of all games in my state
same question and same scenario here are the jackpot odds
$5 ticket - 1 in 5 million
$10 ticket - 1 in 6 million
$20 ticket - 1 in 4 million
also another scratch off ticket that is $5 that offers $50,000 a year for life with chances of 1 in 3 million. on this ticket 1 in 3,000 win $500
VERY strange to me that in the NY lotto there are 2 different $5 scratchoffs
1 of them has 1 in 41,000 chance at $500 and the other has 1 in 3,000 chance at $500
do people know this before playing? there are better tickets to buy....no two are the same even if same dollar amount
let the sink in
one $5 ticket, 1 in 3,000
2nd $5 ticket 1 in 41,000
what the heck
no words for this except omg
scratch cards?
Whats next....spit on a window with a friend and bet which will reach the window ledge first?
Those slot machines and video poker machines at the New York Racinos (iuncl Resorts) are VLT or Video Lottery Terminals.

NO NO NO
that was last week
Yeah ut`s hooked up to the NY OTB Corp. They are controlling the house edge too the way they see fit.
So playing slots there and buying scratchoff same thing without the glitz and glamour
This is interesting to me because it isn't something I had thought about before. Then again, I don't play scratch offs much. I'll have to do some research about the various tickets and odds in my state before I buy them again.
what surprised me is this: one $5 ticket has better odds then another $5 ticket
i won $70 last week :o
Friend of a friend won win for life twice. 1K a week times 2
Wow...Win For Life...twice!!! My husband and I earn a good living, but winning it just once would be a really sweet deal, let alone twice!
It is surprising that tickets that cost the same have different odds and it makes me wonder how the Lottery Commission determines that. I think most people assume, myself included, that a $5 ticket is the same as the $5 ticket next to it. Once I get this figured out for my state, my scratch off investment may increase.
Maybe it is question of odds as here!
Dozen don't pay as much as Street for 5 $ bet.
