Title: Gambling is gambling
Post by: RouletteGhost on Jan 24, 10:46 AM 2016
Progression or flat betting. gambling is gambling

martingale progression  with $10 chips, 6 steps, total stake $630

or someone with a 5k bankroll playing $100 chips flat going through $600 fast

same thing to me i think, no difference in my book

Yeah $ 630 to win back $ 10 .

Next to me at a roulette table in Binions Horseshoe LV a guy martingaled with a final bet of  $ 1,6-00.-- to win back the  first $ 5 he lost.
Jack Binion who happened to be  there   too allowed him to place  the $ 1,600.-- in cash  instead of chips  on RED.  The cat was lucky........ he won.

O yeah ! Dr. Martingale to the rescue.

Yes. 630 to win 10 is stupid

What im trying to say is gambling is gambling. Progresion or no progression

No difference to me if its 630 flat bet or 630 using a progression

If it is a controlled progression like the positive Charles Guetting one   no problem .

What about  those cats who proclaim" I don`t gamble. I buy 5 lottery tickets once a week on Saturday" I just love their attitude.

To them we who are satisfied with $ 80  at a casino visit are degenerate gamblers of the Damon Runyon  variety.

For  2 dozens after 2 wins   in a row  go up  the ladder.

example 2 dozens .each starts with $ 5 after 2 wins up to $ 7. then after 2 wins  up to $ 10  only  one bet then regress  to $ 5 and this time after only 1 win up to 7  and after 1 win up to the $ 10 level

Any time there is a loss the march starts with $ 5.

Adjusting  to higher  base bets   by applying the same ratio.
