Time is another dimention. There are 4 we can see.
Time can be seen by watching a tree wave about. We dont really see it...but we see the effect it has on the dimentions we can see....
Thats what an intellegent life form who can see time thinks about the 5 th dimension.
They cant see it but they know its there
I think other dimensions are like wave octaves. I dont see why there would be a specific limit.
