Where I live here, this state has quite a few lotto games. Powerball at the top and a daily pick 3 game, jackpot of $500. Many games in between those two.
So if you hit the daily pick 3, should you tell people you won the lottery? I say no, its too damn low. Who gives a s**t about $500?
So what is the correct amount from a lotto win in order to say....I won the lottery.
Ken
I know someone that is incredibly lucky with scratch offs and wins $500 often and it pisses me off
So would you say he/she won the lottery?
Ken
If I have to pay taxes on it, it's a win!
Hard to define. I would say "I won the lottery" to an amount (after taxes) that would normally take at least 20 years to earn with the current average salary.
Win but don`t tell.
Fortuna is fickle it soon takes what it has given. Or worse even bad luck to the winner in other ways. That scares the living daylight out of me.
If you make a killing with an investment that`s another story.... you earned it.
In Belgium. ...
Normal lottery. ... 50k - 1000k
Euromillions 15000k - 150000k ..... now that's what I call a lottery! !! Taxfree and set for life and your family as well.
And never tell....or you will need high security and people gonna ask for money all the time (my brother sick, I'm handicapped, pls invest here,.....)
I would say 1 year of salary, whatever it is.

Yaya Touray plays for Manchester city, he gets 1.2Million per month. Around $1.7 Million
A lottery win every month
I will bury that secret. If I had my way, no one would ever know I had money.
