This uses the 1, 3, 9 for testing purposes to see if I have something cookin here
When the last 2 columns are different, bet those 2 columns, on a loss, wait for the 2 past columns to be different again
Here is a 42 live spin example (real world play)
C
B
A (bet C, B, lose) 1 chip each -2
B (bet A, B, win) 3 chips each +3
B (bet A, B, win) 1 chip each +1
A (no bet, last 2 were same)
B (bet A, B, win) 1 chip each +1
B (bet A, B, win) 1 chip each +1
A (no bet)
A (bet A, B, win) 1 chip each +1

lots of success in zumma and live wheel so figured I'd publish it
Flat bet will work as well if the win rate continues this way
Same test flat bet

Nice !
I would throw in some law of third stuff also.
Which would say that if two different columns show up then bet them - because it's more likely
that one will repeat over the third column showing up. (which is what you're doing)
How do you treat the zero/double zero ? A no bet until (coughs) qualified again ?
and throw in dozens at the same time ? Same odds - etc. You can win (or test) twice as fast.
(or the cross section numbers straight up when you have 2 dozens and 2 columns in play at once.)
Grins. Just throwing that out there.

I know you have played similar way back when maybe not this exact way but similar
If 0 shows no bet
The past 2 spins must be 2 different columns
When a 24 number bet wins flat bet i get all excited

Confirmed. Was me
Figured before bed I would roll off some numbers
and play the cross section of two dozens and two columns - only when the last two spins
were from 2 different (both).
For a progression I used 1 unit each number to start - +1 unit each on a loss and returned to 1 unit after any win.
0 or 00 meant qualification again.
Not too bad - it pulled out of the drop that it took, but I know from working on it before a long time ago that the run from hell is waiting to kill it. But happy testing regardless.

Long term not required. 40 spins max.
If you have a losing day so be it
All of your 40 spin sessions put together.....is the long term (and more).

Nah lol - People don't want to see that.
If I take one step, once a day - I would get to the store in a year or so.
These people would say that I didn't travel the distance to the store - I just took one step per day and that's something totally different.
"Short term" doesn't even have a definition. Is it 10 spins ? 100 spins ? maybe 500 spins ?
"Long term" doesn't either. Is it 10,000 spins ? A lifetime of spins ? 20 spins ? lol
But people can stick a fork in the list and say "well, this was a short term session" and ignore
the rest of it I suppose.
As to the method, it's not bad - it works (when it works) - like others.
When it doesn't - maybe that's the short term session we can ignore.
most methods like this are static
this isn't
we have 'no bet' periods
the ONLY time we bet is when the previous 2 numbers fall in different columns
playing this way saves myself from 0 clusters like
24
0
16
00
in your test if you bet every spin then it is not this method. you may go 4 spins without a bet

If that's for me ^ then no, I didn't bet every spin - only when the last two spins were from different columns and dozens (the flat line spots on the graph are no bets so the bankroll stayed flat until I bet again). It did good, pulled out - basically the same as what you described - I just added the dozens into the mix to attempt some improvement. (and played the numbers straight-up and not the 2:1 bet locations)

Reality is, you never did quit playing for those nine hours.

I'm not sharing my popcorn though.
I looked up glib - whatever. Laughs.
I wasn't being "fluent and voluble but insincere and shallow." ! :)
I've been known to be all 4 of those but not at the same time.
I do think this is a good way to play, it works when it works - when it doesn't it doesn't.
There's a bunch of ways to get out of the hole though in case it starts to go into a nosedive - but that's not too likely.

I have simulated 4 real 1 hour casino visit tests.
Real spins. About 40 spins which would be about 1 hour each session.
Session totals under each, then separated by dotted line.
This strategy is one in which I would begin after a virtual loss, then use progression. Insurance on 0/00. In testing below I did NOT bet on 0/00

session 2 hit step 4 of progression of 27 units
way too much for my taste
need to be SAFER
will go forward with 1 virtual loss before betting
since this uses law of the third and some math is on my side I believe that is a smart way to go
1, 3, 9 I am ok with, with small unit size
will toy with +1/-1
flat works in all cases if you leave after 1 to 2 units profit
this is the best thing I have made and its fun to play
getting to step 4 of prog is definitely not common with this way of play
and it happened all in one session
is this "variance" ??
$800 bankroll
$10 unit size
$100 win goal

I agree
In real world I'd go for 1 win and take a break or switch airball machines
That concept is not liked by the vets but its what I do

I disagree - getting into a profit is liked by everyone. Except for those who want to win just to have more to lose

Thanks for the input
I still need to tweak.
I have many more tests to do to determine that the 4th step of prog is the highest to expect
Im still curious as to why that happened in the same session. Must be the variance.
More testing and tweaking needed
Will move forward with virtual loss before beginning which to date will eliminate the 4th step completely.
12 units in 20 minutes
did not bet every spin.
after a win i sat out a few spins before beginning again
yes, i used a progression.
evening session on: link:://:.rouletteplayers.org/
starting bankroll $1000
ending bankroll $2000
unit size used $25
Outcome +40 units
played with 1, 3, 9
did not bet every spin, took a break for a few spins after a win
Very interesting, and very easily played on Online live dealers tables.
I played with progression 1,3,9 with excellent results starting after a virtual loss.
Will need to simulate more though.
I wonder about my famous progression from hell with this method.... Of course, I always live test with 0.10$ units....
Simon.

.10 cents with prog with a bot set to go after 2 unique columns. Holy cow that would be a field day
4th step is highest i have gotten. Highest this evening was 3
Since this is the common place with this strategy i think a virtual loss before beginning is great. That will really cut down on reaching 4th step. But if you use .10 id go right at the get go

Yeah, I would start it before leaving to work and stop it before going to bed....
I start after a virtual loss. Got to the third step this evening.
Still playing though...
I play 0.10$ on online Slingshot airball.

I just looked a 5dimes. Minimums are way to much for me.... At least for now...
I wonder how this would work on RNG....
Simon,
with the virtual loss begin
and 1 3 9
about to triple my BR
tripled and then some
Can you do the same at a B&M casino (same method)?

absolutely
100%
i may sit out a few spins tops but absolutely can be done
its 2 bet locations. takes 5 seconds to place
on sit out spins i can stand up, watch for 2 spins then just place on the columns when i need to. dont need a seat
when i am in atlantic city, busy table, i can watch, and just squeeze in and place the columns as i wish

Very cool!!
I play this while watching TV.
Very relaxed way to play roulette. Just love it!
But I want to simulate on Xtreme roulette to see when It's gonna bust.
Meanwhile, still playing live with 0.10$ units...

hows it been goin?
Good for now. No loss yet. But i'm playing blind. I mean, without any prior testing.
I want to run a lot of simulations before I move to 1$ units. But for now, it's faster than Grassroots.
What I do I wait for a virtual loss before starting to bet.
When I have a win, I wait for 2 or more on the same column before starting a cycle again. I dont know if it really makes a difference but...
I find myself often on the 9-9 level..... Maybe it's just my luck.

I have not seen that type of session on American Wheel

or
b) the wheel layout changes it

If the 1-2 bet loses, you now need to win 2 in a row
Ex. 1 L
2. L
3 W
4. W. Recover +1 unit
Ex 1. L. 1/2
2. L
3. W. 3/4
4. L. A win would recover
6. L. 6/7
10. W. 10/15
15. L. Win recovers
18. W
27. W. 2 wins

What do you mean by 1/2 ? 1 unit on one column and 2 on the other?
Sorry just trying to understand

For this method 2 in a row win for new profit is a nice idea

The rules for this strategy posted by RG state: When the last 2 columns are different, bet those 2 columns
In the example of spins by gorki, I showed how the progression I use would have recovered, I did not however follow those rules of waiting for 2 different results. Once the losses were two in a row losing, meaning the 1 and 2 unit bet lost, I bet EACH spin, not waiting for a different result.
This is not my progression, I believe I found it on here many months ago. I've been playing Columns the last 4 months using this, but I also will use the more dreaded 1 3 9 27 81 if I come across 1 or 2 VL on the toteboard.
To clarilfy 1/2 3/4 etc......If the 3 losses, you don't bet 4, you go to the next set of two :6/7
