I shouldn't have read the other thead, I just banged my head on the desk.
Having known and respected you for over a decade now over various forums - I seriously
doubt that the answer you're looking for is "Whatever makes me happy to bet on at the moment and not using money that I need for other things".
You obviously want specific answers so I'll reply that way - it will take some typing.
*Unless of course I can save all of that time and just say something in one sentence. lol

Bet selection is simple.
I'm going to play the numbers that are going to show above expected (not all of them, I'm not perfect - and that would be impossible).
The only way to win in a game where the casino doesn't pay out evenly against the odds of a number showing means that the only way I can win is to play numbers that are going to show at least above 1 std deviation.
Units increase as bankroll increases - not the opposite (negative progression). You can't win by doing something that doesn't work and just throwing more money at it and hoping it pulls out.
(That would describe all Democrats in the US as well lol)
I increase betting amounts as my bankroll increases.
(so.....)
MM is simple as well - you can't win the game by losing a bankroll, then next time winning 'some' - then winning more - then having to use another bankroll, etc.
A system or method that works properly will fund itself after 1 initial buy-in.
Ask anyone who plays "scratch off" lottery tickets. Someone will say "I just won for 500 bucks !" which sounds impressive, except that they spent 600 over the past year - not many people win those and are 'ahead' over time.
So after the initial bankroll - the rest is 'self-funded'.

Discipline
Almost no one has this. I consider myself the master of it. If you're playing and then change everything because "something just happened and I think I see a opportunity" - then you are
letting other variables cloud your way of playing. It's temping - always, I don't change from what I'm doing because I see some possible gem taking place. I'll just lose out on that and stick with what I'm doing.
Patience
Not rushing the flow of things. Also tempting. Making bigger bets than you normally would because you 'want' to win more-faster etc. It's a slow game, I dedicate the amount of time that I know I'll need to complete a session (typically 3-4 hours). I won't let myself raise my unit amount in order to try to bring that time frame down.
Greed
Not a good thing in this game, I plan out ahead of time what I expect to walk out with and then I leave when that happens. It's not a stop-loss, it's not a stop-win either. It's simply having a goal that you know you will reach and then ending that session.

Not playing into the casino's hand more than you have to already.
I don't drink, I don't get distracted from what I'm doing. I don't care how "hot" the woman is that brings those free drinks to the person next to me (grins). I'm strictly business.
If and when I go to just enjoy myself or have company - then I don't worry about the above rules and I have fun.
I always tip the dealer(s). I'm winning - they get sh*t pay. It just seems fair.

I'm sure there is more - I can get into specifics, or some of them as time permits.

I consider myself the master of bankroll resets.
The C Column just hit for such a long time it´s ridiculous. Even when the blacks hit it´s always 15, 6, 24 and 33. Should have jumped on it. Kept betting heavy on 28,29,31,32,34,35 instead. Bust.

Thanks for the tips and tricks how you play the game.

Little curious how do you figure out the " numbers that are going to show at least above 1 std deviation "?

Ha these numbers have just hit like one after another. Recovered. Still I´m not sure about sticking with the plan no matter what. If the new opportunity looks better than what you´re betting on, I say jump on it.
