I'm just curious why someone choose roulette for gambling?
Why not black jack?
Or bacc? Isn't easier or lower HE and no mister green.
Or poker? We have times with 100% win rate at this game.
Craps? Honestly I know nothing about this as it isn't played much over here.
Sports betting, horses , .........
I prefer blackjack, but it can be really slow an relies on other players having some idea how to play. Roulette is just you against the wheel.
Horseracing takes priority over roulette every time for me... unless I find the Grail, that is! :xd:
A.
If I played even chances I would prefere Baccarat or BJ.
My choice is roulette because of the higher chances. 35:1 is my reason.
I like roulette coz it's more entertaining then bacc or bj.
But poker did and still makes the most profit for me. These days you got that turbo/rush/zoom ....tables. It's so fast. I choose low stakes tables and fold fold fold till I got what I want. And then it's playtime.
There almost every sessions a guy who bluf even if you know the hand is yours. Love it. Milk them ! (0,1-0,25 blinds...and there guys raising to 20-50 â,¬ ). >:D
I kind of love-hate poker.
If you win big with big hands depends on your opponents. If I hit a no at roulette I get paid always.
I'm a loser in cash games but not that bad in turnaments. Made it in 2007 to the WSOP main event with 1$ buy in online qualifyer turnaments.
Great experience but did not cash then.
I chose roulette, because there are unlimited ways to play, there are many kind of bets with different odds, and I don't have to play against humans.
I used to play poker for years, I still believe I was a good sng player, and once I was also able to win a multi table tournament against 500 players. The reason I stopped is because unfortunately I'm a very emotional person, I couldn't handle losses, and the fact that other humans beat me just made it worse. Once I built up a bankroll from $10 to $2500 in about a year, and lost it all it two nights playing mid stakes cash games where I didn't have a chance.
35 to 1 payout and easy to win. :)
I like watching balls.
No that's not it. I like the challenge. Most people say it can't be done. It can and edge of 15% or more is easy. Real challenge is 50% edge or more.

Easy? Wish you teached us bit more than just say it's easy and bet on the numbers that are most likely gonna hit more/faster than others.
But I understand though

Also without your technology?
because of the dealer i used to go out with...nice one she was
Because I can create an unlimited
number of systems around Roulette..
(from a 'Model T' to a 'Ferrari'-and everything in between) :)
Roulette at a B & M casino is OK with me. I ignore the crap like air ball and on line casinos ..

As a BJ player for over 40 years I have never believed that the play of other players, or your position at the table, influence the odds of winning.
I agree that roulette is you against the wheel if it is live and not RNG.
I am not sure where Airball falls into the mix because I have heard that some strange things, such as the ball jumping out of a slot, after it has settled, and into another, can happen. I personally have not seen this.
If it is RNG you are playing against the software and not a wheel and I wish you the best of luck.
I, personally, came to roulette because I was tired of all the changes being made to BJ rules such as:
1) Continuous card shufflers that negate card counting
2) Not allowing a DD after a split
2) Deletion of Surrender option
3) 6/5 Payout on a BJ
Anyone interested in BJ should take a serious look at the Wizard of Odds website.

If a player continually stands on cards where they should hit it does influence the game, the dealer is not getting the card they would have.
Yes Airball does have its critics including me. I have seen winning numbers changed by "something' as the ball just suddenly jumps out of the slot after it has settled.
