Title: Does Turner possess the Holy Grail or its history of exploration?
Post by: falkor2k15 on Aug 02, 05:14 PM 2016
Who are the most longest standing members of Roulette forums since the dawn of the Internet who are still alive today? My guess would be Turner is one of those veterans? What's more, Turner is a mod, and I guess he might be a more active member compared to those non-frequent members who come and go every few months.

Might Turner possess the Holy Grail? He has, after all, witnessed many roulette masters come and go with different ideas and whatnot. If he hasn't discovered it himself in all that time - perhaps somebody just decided to pass it his way as a goodwill gesture for his long term service to the community?

How did Roulette forums get started up anyway? Were there any in the late 90s besides the general gambling forums? Which are the main forums where all the roulette masters have gathered over the years, including any that are now defunct, or in other languages? Which of you old timers can give me a bit of chronological history? I only know of BetSelection.CC RouletteForum.CC and VLS, and Kav's forum.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Although I dont see eye to eye with Turner on everything, I give credit where its due. He is on my "one hand scale" (insert joke, lol).

Meaning, maybe 5 "active" members here that know their s**t better than the other 400.

Another thing Falkor. Please stop using Holy Grail in 70% of your threads. Pretty please?

Ive witnessed the sublime to the ridiculous.

Being clever and creative can baffle brains but as soon as you place chips on the carpet, it makes absolutely no difference how they got there and what system you used to get them there.

SD, Escart, virtual this....virtual that, LOTT, triggers, voodoo, pies, repeaters, bow ties

All systems succumb to the HE. (IMO)

Thank God I did all that obsessive study and learning and ACTUALLY got somewhere.

A conclusion

Thanks Turner!

When I get the HG - sorry MJ, last time - we can meet up at the Curry Mile for a Chicken Chaat on puri with extra mango powder and black salt - followed by a Tandoori Garlic Naga Chilli Chicken Balti Jalfrezi Masala with lemon rice; how does that sound, mate?

Yes yes

Buffster made a terrific grassroots tweak. Very clever as well.

Like them both. No drama with those guys.

Buffster, Tamino (etc)...old school ballers. One thing I hate reading, if a member STOPS posting, he must of lost everything. (lol) There could be twenty different reasons why postings have stopped.

I'm still around...Come here everyday, like clockwork, just to keep an eye on the NEW generation. Still have lots to learn.

I'm into POKER now...Like my chances of winning much more than Roulette. Don't get me wrong, Roulette will always hold a place in my heart, but I just don't have the patience anymore.

Poker on the other hand, besides being a game of chance, is also a game ( for lack of a better term) of Cat and Mouse. Lots of technique, character, ... you name it..

The one thing which is very hard to Master is Skill. When I Master the Skill of Poker....I will RULE THE WORLD ( lol )

For now I bid you all a goodnight and a good fight..

Having said all that, you can play badly if you want and crash and burn real soon.

I love roulette and I think with considerate play and an arsenal of knowledge you can keep in the game much longer, perhaps years, and have some success...but it aint no cash cow

Thumps up for that. It is easy to fall in love with the game and even more easier to get addicted to that love. But it is hard to sustain that love and my salute goes to quite a few like you who have been doing that. We have a lot to learn from you.

Well....

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

I think you make some great attempts to approach the game from new angles.

The cycle concept is an interesting one

I always hear the "veterans" say stop trying the same things and try something new

Finally something new and it gets attacked. How stupid.

I say good work and lets further discuss cycles
