Poll
Question: Would, would not change rules to a posted method?
Option 1: I would keep rules exactly the same. The author knows MORE about said method than I do. votes: 6
Option 2: I might change a thing or two but keep it private. votes: 4
Option 3: I might change a thing or two and post what I feel needs changing, all can read it. votes: 10

A great question as usual, from me. If a person posted a "damn good" method (call it whatever you want) but asked politely, not to change a thing, its GREAT already as is......you read/test the method and you really like it but think, it would be a little better if this and that were tweaked.

Do you NOT tweak it because the author was KIND ENOUGH to post it? Are you insulting the author because of tweaking? I think its a legit question. Commenting is not too important because I'm trying to keep the VOTE, somewhat anonymous.

depends on testing. If it goes smoothly I wouldn't change a thing. If its a bumpy ride I will surely look if it can be improved.

Are you insulting the author because of tweaking? It probably would taken as an insult for the author. But I've I managed to really make it better I would share it though. As a thank u for pointing me in the right direction.

Sometimes other people can find tweaks you didn't think of  (yet)

What I see quite often.....an author posts something decent. Another member(s) might add a tweak or two and now the method is even better. Everyone is dancing and thanking for the tweaks but the ORIGINAL author is never even thought of again (lol), I see it a lot.

If I thought of a change that I think might help I would suggest it.  If the OP doesn't agree, I would create my own method in another thread.

Nathan Detroit  , at his column betting  topic on Bet Selection    removed  Blue Angel when he   tried to chime in with  a 2 dozen  bet.

He howled.   I told him to start his own topic,  His howling I left in the thread.
