- We are getting rid of personal sections, everybody is a regular poster and uses the regular sections, including myself.
- No more times for a "wendel comeback" or any other poorly-perceived member which has been already banned.

- Albalaha gets on "probation stage". All his posts are going to be moderated until further notice (i.e. I must read what he posts before it hits the forum's pages).
That's it for the moment.
Thanks Victor, I do agree!! Ken
Hmmmm...
QuoteWe are getting rid of personal sections, everybody is a regular poster and uses the regular sections, including myself.
One of things that made this forum different was the personal sections.
Kept things neat and tidy.
And we could post our point of view in our own section.
Then if people wanted to.
They could go and visit that personal section.
See what they had to say.
So your saying all personal sections going?
Good move Victor, let's have a level playing field.
I think it's a good choice, I never understood why some people got a personal subforum ???
@Thomas
Yes Tom, too much fuzz kicking about them.
We are all leveled now and use regular sections. Heat over.
I'll try relocating all the topics in proper places, beside some topics (specially at albalaha's section) simply won't make it throough the cleanup (i.e. steve you are great, celticcasino fraud, sold system promotion...).

I think it originally started out as a subforum for members to post there rants in there own section.
Where you could be identified with your own views.
In your very own section.
Ahh the privileged class. ROFL...
Only wish more people would have there own sections.

It's a shame...
But I understand.
Keep a level playing field.
No one person has a personal section.
Hmmm...
Bugger...
Cant even rant and rave in my own room now.
Will have to resort to blogs.
All for the best I suppose.
Victor has the overall right to do as he wishes.
It is his forum after all.
We are all just along for the ride.
I at least would like to take this opportunity to say thank you
for letting me rant and rave in my own section.
Even though I at times go on a bit.
We still have a "General Section" Tom :)

Quite a way to ask for account activation!(Lay your bets at his chances to actually get it (link:://rouletteforum.cc/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif))
I'm kind of divided on the personal sections.
As originally envisioned, they made perfect sense. An area for a specific writer to collect and run with his ideas. Thomas was a good example of that.
However, some times things just don't go as planned and it was a pretty good experiment.
I can see it possibly coming back in the future, but perhaps with a bit more guidelines for the authors of thier own sections.
Although I have the choice to read anyone's section as I see fit, if there was a bad section leader, there was no point in reading it. That doesn't solve the immediate problem of a bad section running wild and causing more damage to the forum as a whole.
So, for the time being, I'll tend to lean toward's Victor's current plan to shut down the personal areas, but I'd leave the option to reopen them in the future if some better ground rules can be worked out.

Quite frankly, I'm going to miss Thomas Grant's section.
I often visited it.
I found his posts and ideas often informative, frequently amusing and quirky (I enjoy his dry humour) but never boring.
Please consider re-establishing it as a value-added-to-the-forum section.
As long as it conforms to the New Guidelines then, surely, its reintroduction wouldn't be a problem?
Now Tom has the whole forum to post.
(as well as all section owners, including myself)
Dear esoito. I meditated on it and it wouldn't look good to have some favoritism towards some members over the others. For instance why Tom and not Winkel... You know what I mean, shows like a biased scenario. So I had to do it altogether.
On a brighter note, I didn't have any problem relocating all of the posts on the personal sections to our already-existent sections, which means we have enough spaces devoted to the whole range of our expressions, including off-topic.

There are more regarding my (inexistent) relationship to casinos, but that's the same "yadda yadda".
Well guys, from the comments I'm getting today it seems some people firmly believe scammers are sponsoring us and I'm a casino sold-out receiving big-time sponsorship (as evidenced in the amount of casino banners in our forum... (link:://rouletteforum.cc/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)).
--Also, you know, when you think V.L.S., think 6.6.6. for I don't want us to enjoy a peaceful debate, but to censor the truth (link:://rouletteforum.cc/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)
Some I find HILARIOUS myself...
Thomas, it seems you and me have been "intimate friends" and I get paid to support the Thomas Grant Scam :D You can evidence it since when the text is half-seen through the many casino banners I am promoting your affiliate links in every one of my posts.

Well, getting to midnight here in VE. I'm going to keep on coding a while more, then bed.
Tomorrow is a new day.
We continue with the ones who wish to accompany us in our journey.
Our doors are wide open for those who wish to tune-in with us and hang-out and debate in our atmosphere... some may say a good one, some may say it's the worst forum ever here... I'm relying on the natural selection process present in life to ultimately define who's who.
The GG people will end up @ GG, and all our genuine people will accompany us and enjoy being part of and integrate with our community.
Kind regards.
Yours truly,
good ol' Vic

It was fun while it lasted.
At least I can keep my website link in my sig.
Or until we have a full blown war over it.
Friking ridiculous.
All the best.
Thanks for being there.
And here.
And posting.
...To you for your kind words.
In the end, it always shows who's who and by "law of attraction and repulsion" characters collide and stabilize where they feel comfortable the most.
Certainly people end-up and stay where they belong.
(I'm counting on that)
On the bright side, albalaha wanted to keep on belonging to our forum family in better terms and I have lifted his posting moderation.
Welcome around albalaha.

There's still our good ol' Software Section (link:://rouletteforum.cc/other-software/) to cover bots and others
I'm sure when Thomas feels like posting he is going to spot a fine/appropriate section for his topic. It's not like we are short on sections/places to post! :)
:-\ damn. . .
Where i can find winkel's GUT and lotto thread? Old VLS?
GUT will be buried in full systems?
Lotto in off-topic?
IMO personal sections was a nice thing. At least it was easier to avoid "brilliant" ideas of some forum members. Now there will be a mess and a lot of scrolling to find some valuable info.
Personal sections were keeping TROLLS out of main board and smart people in their own world.
I'm new here but i was reading a lot from here for a few months and i already have members that I just simply ignore. If any one is using only caps, big font etc. its obvious that this person isn't interested on readability of thread and just want to stand out to feel important.
I would suggest to force format of replies - no changing font size or color - this should be allowed only to thread starter. IMO thread starter should always have different font color than rest of the members to improve readability and make it easier to find valuable info from the person that actually posted specific system. (2 weeks ago I finished reading 78page gut thread and I still remember how hard was to find info about the system not just arguments between some forum members)
Ok. No more trolling. This was just my small opinion didn't meant to offend anyone.

You can identify the thread starter because they are the moderator, and so will have 5 big blue stars under their name.

True. And there is also red text "Thread Starter" - that is hard to notice when reading forum with PDA. But I guess not a lot of people are doing that.
