Brexit was one of the best decisions (maybe the best)  that the Brits have taken in the post-WWII period.

Because of Brexit, Britain now is no longer a German colony and have now taken charge of its own destiny.

June 23rd, 2016.

The INDEPENDENCE DAY of modern Britain -- it was the day Britain stopped being a German colony and took charge of its own destiny.

Brexit is harming uk, the economy will suffer, people will lose their jobs, companies will leave uk.

I don’t understand why the over +60 are supporting such a move !

In fact, most young people in the uk wanted to remain in the EU

That's because most young people don't know their history.  They've completely lost their identity.  They're afraid to stand on their own and compete as an economy.

The Moooslim population is going to take them over without firing a shot because much of the population is afraid of not being politically correct.  Not to mention their getting closer to banning knives, so before long their going to eat with only the spork.

Any form of central government is a bad idea, except for those in power.

Stop spreading empty words, what you doing is propaganda, you have too much dark ideas.

You are supporting the far rights with this, no matter what you say, the majority of the youths know well that their future is the EU, you as well as the oldies are looking into the past!

Yes the Brits will have to endure short to medium term economic hardship (5-10 years), but in the long run, they will do fine (as their illustrious history shows). They are a developed country with mature industrial and service sectors and they will be able to handle any such short to medium term economic problems without suffering economic collapse.

That is a tolerable price to pay for regaining your nation's autonomy in setting your country's policies and plans for the future.

P.S. By the way, I am an American in my mid-30s, so don't bother using that garbage "oldies" argument against me.

Continuing with my previous message:

I wish France would follow Britain's example and have a FREXIT referendum.

My wife is from France and so I do have a vested interest in that country's affairs.

The French constantly grumble about the all the EU restrictions they face (especially in framing their economic and industrial policies), but they are too passive and risk-averse to so anything about it (as compared to their counterparts in Britain).

But, hey, I hope one day we have a FREXIT referendum and my wife's country also leaves the EU. That would be an awesome thing for the French -- they also need to take control of their country's economic and political future by ending this suffocating relationship with the EU.

You are American living in the US and not in Europe, you are telling the Europeans what is good and what is not !

You are not living here, why do you believe that your opinions are right ?

I always thought that if you want to build a valid opinion, you have to get in contact with the involved people and not directing the others what is good for them and what is not !

Why can't I have an opinion on this issue even if I don't live over there?

So, regarding any issue, if you are not in contact with the involved people, you can't have an informed opinion on that issue that is affecting those people?

Aren't there other ways of learning and becoming informed about such issues?

Regarding FREXIT, did you read my previous message?

I said my wife is from France. So why should I not have an opinion about what might be good for her country?

And, yes, even though it is a very long shot, I would be absolutely delighted (for France) if FREXIT happens one day.

Don't like the vote do all to remain, there's democracy for you. Tony Blair you won.

Nottop,
If there is free movement, that is a losing deal for you guys, for sure.

As long as you have east europeans coming into the UK unimpeded, they will keep taking jobs away from native Brits.

Nottop,
As you can see, the EU critters are getting increasingly distraught and worried about losing Britain (as one of the German colonies).

Why?

Because Brexit will put an absolute end to Britain being taken for granted and exploited (as a German colony) by the rest of the EU.

So stay the course, don't lose your nerves, fight for your inalienable national rights and sovereignty, and complete the Brexit process !
