Hans,

A back to back hit can also be expressed as position1, or rank1, hitting.

The positions behave actually exactly as the nrs.  There are 37 possible positions.  24hit 12double 13 non hit happen in a 37 spin cycle.

I shared a file that tracked the positions, or "rank" as I calll them, in the IG HOT NR MANIA thread.

If you know a bit of excel you'll be able to find out and wll be able to expand on it.

I will post in IG's so it appears on top.

hi bigroben,

thanks for replying,

I wonder if your idea of "positioning" could be combined with kurt v. hallers "unbeatable progression" (in german: unverlierbare progression)?

this is just an idea that flashed through my head ....not deeply thought of or deeply thoughz out.

you can find this progression in the attached  file.

cheers  :)

looking at von hallers progression let me ask my questiona bit differently:

how often should we/ do we have to face a 184 spin range without any number repeating back to back?

I did not check this. i just checked the back to back wins as they would guerantee a win with this progession.
if there would always be an "in between win" I'm afraid I don't know.
