Title: Precog - Dealing with Boom & Bust
Post by: Klausy on Sep 24, 11:39 AM 2021
Typically I go through cycles of seeing numbers clearly for a day or two then nothing for ages. In the lean spells, I am often inundated with numbers so often ending up guessing. This was going nowhere.
I’m now instead, when seeing a 4, a 5 and a 6 and not being able to decide, playing all of those finals, i.e. 4, 5, 6, 14, 15, 16, 24, 25 etc. Although this often ends up playing a lot more numbers and hence drastically reducing winnings, my thinking is that although I can’t distinguish between 4, 5 & 6, one of them maybe the winner. If not (ie they are just guesses), then it increases the chance of a random hit.
So far seems to be going ok. I’m in a barren spell at the moment (got a heavy cold) but there is slow accumulation.
May not come to anything but thought I’d share as a possible strategy.

Good job, I've noticed that if you practice less numbers you get more hits when you play more numbers too. Interesting results.

One of the hardest things that can hinder growth is variance. Sometimes you might use the wrong method and still get a hit because of variance. It makes it harder to find what works.

Watch out for variance even when you have a good method it can cause a lot of confusion.

Yes good point. Long term analysis will suggest if there is a genuine edge but I agree it makes it hard to work out if you got a genuine hit or a lucky strike in any individual spin.
