Hi all,
I'm new to this site. I want to ask for your opinion on betting in progression. I've been doing it and it's been giving me good returns. But I noticed if i'm making profits a lot at any time, the next time i bet i'll tend to lose faster too especially when I got over-confident and played on a higher limit table.
eg, there were occasions where I've made $4000 after playing for 4hrs , and the following week i've lost $3700 after playing for 2hrs.
In contrary, on the days i won smaller, maybe $800-$1000, i don't tend to lose that amount I made on the following casino visit.
has anyone ever been caught in such situation?
Progression or flat betting? Biggest question for any form of gambling and specially applicable to roulette. In my opinion, progression is necessary somehow because whatever you chose to bet upon be it a single number to two dozens together, it may not turn up within its break-even point. In such a situation, only progression can solve the problem. There are numerous types of suggested progressions like Martingale, D'alembert, Labouchere, Fibonacci and many more others. There are certain radical progressions also which have been suggested by various forum members here and in other forums. Although chosing right progression for you is the most difficult task. It depends upon your bankroll, what is your target earning and how much money you can risk for that, how long should be your one session etc.
