Title: Martingale system
Post by: GoranNF on Feb 22, 03:59 PM 2011
Hi there,

I was wondering, on unibet casino there is a table with min 0.10 betting and max 50. If I use martingale on this table, I can double my betting 9 times before I reach the table limit. There is also a table with 1-1000 betting, where you can double even more. I was wondering if I should play at these tables using the martingale strategy? It is a RNG table though, but I think it is very rare to double 9 times and still not to win?

thanks in advance

I thought so, sounded too good to be treu:P But how you mean recover from one loss? Do you mean that I lose 9 times in a row?

Yes, if there was no table limits and you had a massive bank it WOULD be unbeatable, but alas !

As for recovery, I meant work out ure TOTAL Loss and then the amount of times you would need to win just to get back to even

Session One-The Bust

1
2
4
8
16
32
64
128
256
512
1024 table limit reached at step 11 for Ã,£1000 limit

Lose all 11 steps

Total Loss = Ã,£2047

You now need 2048 Wins to be up just ONE Unit !

Hey Goran just find a system with a high hit rate (there are a few on here) and put in some smart money management and you should do ok.  (i.e. aim for +20% of original bankroll as a goal per session and 50% stoploss on a bad night.)

Dear Goran,
Martingale is the most escapist way of playing roulette. Suppose u play 9 steps progression, the risk that you gonna take is of 1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128+256=511 units, just to gain 1 unit. If u win even 500 times and lost once, u will still be in lose and if lost twice or thrice or even more (not very unusual), just count ur losses.

I will keep that in mind thank you. What do you mean with 50% stoploss?

If U start with $100

then Ur stop-loss position @50% would be $50

In other words U will not go below $50 on a losing steak.

But also as important.

If U win, say the recommended +20%, and want to continue playing, then Ur new balance is now $120, and a new stop-loss point would be 50% of that new balance, which would be $60.

U see, Ur protecting Ur BR, and protecting an INCREASED BR, after a winning session!

Do U get it Goran?  ::)

Know, if I got the math right.

Then you should lose the 11 step martingale 1 time in 2048 spins on average.

(1/2)^11 =1/2048

So, in 2048 spins we have:
2048/37 = ~55 zero's

So on average you should lose 55 units every 2048 spins.
Ofcourse this depends on how much you bet every time zero hits and so on.

Don't kill me if I'm wrong  :embarrassed:

IF ure always at step one when the Zero hits

IF ure at step 11 each time, different story !!

;)

If we assume that we are on step one when zero hits.

Ofcourse the average loss by zero can be solved to by math, but I'm to lazy know

In a nutshell,
Martingale is not playable in any case.
