Donated $20 :-*
Me to.
I hope there's more than me and Thomas.
Come on people we need to keep this going.
Robert
I stated this in the past.....I can donate but can not use PayPal due to legal reasons (don't ask). I would need someone here in the U.S. to send them money (cash) in the mail, this person would have to be very honest (sorry but I had to say that). I would need your address/PO box. Any information you give me remains PRIVATE.
Ken
What are the annual charges?
Donated $10 :-[
$5 :)
Cheers
Jon
LOVELY! Bros. No matter the amount, it is absolutely Lovely what you are doing: sincere thanks for your donations.
I totally hope we can get rid of both the domain and the host in one go before the 27th, and any spare enables us to be good for next month too.
As you know, I'm in a dollar-blocked country (I'm venezuela based) and we are up only thanks to *YOU*, the community!
If you can act before the 27th by all means do. Every bit counts.
P.S: Feel good of showing even a little support, for any support is appreciated. It lets us know we are a community and act as a group together.
Thank you very much again.
Victor
Donated. :xd:
Please use the 'Gift' service when paying by PayPal, and pay the small fee that PayPal requires to make the transaction.
I know some will be shocked, that I have made a further donation, not least of which will be Victor himself.
I'm very happy to be donating, and keep this Fine place open!.
Victor, someone here (link:://rouletteforum.cc/general-discussion/april-27-our-rouletteforum-cc-domain-expires/msg48520/#msg48520) asked for the costs/annual charges for the Forum.
Would you be so kind as to show the fellows, what it costs to run this fine place,
and then greater transparancy will be assured.
Keep up the good work every body.
Cheers all.

Hello dear Chris and Baz, it varies month to month. I coudn't give you an exact yearly estimate; at times i have rented more resources up to $140, but it does fluctuate. We hover the dedicated at ~$70.
You know in the past we have been hosted at the "EL Cheapo" range and you know how crappy arse it has came up! We rushed out of there due to slowness complaints!
Good news: as of today, The RouletteForum.cc domain is extended and hopefully the hosting bill is checked next.
Thanks bros.

I am in Australia. Can I help?
Not really but much appreciated. I need to send American money in the mail to someone here in the U.S., then they donate it via PayPal.
Ken
Dear Ken,
Why don't you use Western Union Money Transfer which is available for both USA as well as Venezuela? See link:://:.westernunion.com/ (link:://:.westernunion.com/)

That's per month, but it does fluctuate dear Baz.
Remember, I also assist with other projects I have running on the server.
I haven't had the need to put up the donations buttons for a long time since the server has been up thanks to my own particular works paying for it, some host we had (i.e. when Richard was in) and some donors helping from time to time, without too much of a fuzz, just offering the service.
If I am attending a customer (which can pay dollars) and needs server space I have accomodated and paid with it. The cost has gone UP in such cases; if I'm not, then it lowers.
My goal was that we could "piggyback" on the server, paid by others forever, and no further need for the buttons ever again (I had in fact make us "piggyback" for a long time!)... but you know how things are.
Sadly, I am only working with non-dollar clients right now, otherwise I have no problem in helping by donating my efforts and time myself.
Hopefully, by selling something around (ie. club memberships) we can stand by our own soon, in the mean time, many thanks to all those who are supporting.
Now we have some idea of the relative costs of keeping the doors open so2speak, could we have some sort of meter device that shows how the donations are stacking up for that particular month?
It does not have to be an actual $meter, but more like a petrol/gas tank meter or gauge, that shows when the tank is empty- (no donations and a month to go),........
to the best possible position, where the gauge is showing almost full and there are enough funds to get U/Forum to the next pay day!
So the meter/gauge/dial could just show either a percentage of the 'tank' or as is more common, be marked/graduated in 0/4, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 4/4 increments.

Donations Gauge.
Good idea Chrissy,
As a donor for a cause, one should know the real needs.
Ken, I can help you out... let me get home again on Tuesday and I'll pm you, ok? I'll be donating more too once home. Happy Easter everyone! :)
