Title: • Fibonacci Betting System

The Fibonacci system is less aggressive than Martingale system discussed above.  It is based on the Fibonacci Sequence, developed by the Italian mathematician Leonardo Pisano Bigollo, also known as Leonardo of Pisa, Leonardo Pisano, Leonardo Fibonacci, or simply “the most talented western mathematician of the Middle Ages” (a period of European history from the 5th century to the 15th century).

The Fibonacci sequence goes as follows: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 and so on.  As you probably have figured out, each following number is the sum of previous two, while the first two numbers are 0 and 1.  This famous sequence goes all the way back to the 12th century and has a peculiar habit of showing up in completely unrelated areas of life such as architecture, music and biology- as it’s even said that rabbits breed according to this sequence.

The next number in the sequence represents the size of the next bet.  For example, the next bet will be 1 unit.  If you lose again, then the next bet will be 2 units.  When you win, you will cross out the last two numbers in the sequence.  The sequence is finished when all the numbers are crossed out.  The good thing about playing with Fibonacci strategy is that it gives you an accumulated win as a result.  However, again it will not earn you a profit in the long run.  Eventually, a row long enough to wipe you out will appear.

Hi.

Nice posting.

I think this Topic of Urs should be moved to the Money Management section, for further development and study.

Its not a bet as such, but more a MM design for use ON A BET.

This is basic.

There are two ways to make an allways winning bet of it:

1. read my thread: win as much as you want

2. If you are crazy enough to bet on ECs  make it to a bet-row of fear

This is:
as long as you lose just bet 1 unit
we know that a Fibonacci will need 2 hits back to back or WLW

example we bet on red - we meet a row of 12 blacks
we lose 12 units
bet 13: 1 unit  - win and payout 2 means +1 and total -11
now we look at the row: it says ..... 8  13  21 ....
next bet will be 13
-- in a win: +13 total +2
-- in a loss-win: -11-13 +21= -4
-- next bet: 5 units
and so on
