Title: Anyone making money?
Post by: StackBundles on Apr 28, 09:32 PM 2010
im doing ok at the min im producing a nice profit every week now ive changed my ways of thinking and with more self control its doing good!

i used to gamble alot and i always seem to be in profit everytime i gambled but then i would keep going and going and end up with nothing it was easy for me to earn 120 in a night but its like soon as i got to that stage greed and constant playing running into bad runs would kill me off

i am now using money management, self control, Profit Target, Stop Loss and of course not betting for long periods i seem to be staying in profit every week

but some people disagree with this and they are saying the long run you will be killed off

what are your views?

Stack how are you? Been testing your sector strategy but ONLY concentrating on SECTOR 4 numbers 22----26. Mindblowing consistency my friend. Even to level stakes, this baby turns a profit nearly every 50 spin sequence. What I do is wait for 9 spins to go by (virtual wait and part of the 50 spin sequence) Then over the next 41 spins I will cover every spin. If 10 spins go by without a hit I double stakes. AFTER A WIN, I drop down again. Had once sequence of 50 with 14 hits Stack. Thats 14x4=56--41=15pts PROFIT AT LEVEL STAKES NICE... ;D

Holy cow that's impressive

How much you make a year dare I ask >>> Not all that impressive. I only play 2 numbers and with $5 chips......your NETS will be higher. As far as yearly, thats private to most (not all). I bought half a restaurant with my winnings over the years. Those 5 winning days I was referring to were... $2,450, $2,175, $2,800, $2,650 and $1,675. Then minus my 4K.  Ken

Wise to invest your money.  I said to myself that i would put my winnings into stocks but so far it failed.  For some reason I used the money on smokes, beer, wallpapers, a exhaustpipe and some other crap. . .

Been winning but not consistent enough to be sure I really am playing in a successful manner.  Also my wingoal is still far away (200€ a day).

I won some money, generally can earn between EUR 20-40per day, but right now I stopped after a loss of several hundreds. That happened because I did not follow
my own (systems) rules. First  i have to work at my self control, then  i will play again.
Probably better if we  play with someone beside , not alone.
I like  if most of us can  be honest, say honestly if  win or not  and how  win, and we have to  put forces together to beat roulette.
Yes we can , but first .........self control......(Happy is he who has....)

good luck guys

I earn almost always.  slow but steady.  I play with cents and pence and not dollar, euro or pound styerling(rarely).  But I keep losing money also in testing various systems and my latest researches.  I must confess, sometimes I even lose my bankroll but this is a guarantee when I play patiently, no one can stop me from earning.  I play for hours in a strech and cover my losses which i incur while researching new methods/systems.

Hello dear albalaha,

Testing should be precisely for keeping you from spending money! Don't test for real money man! :)

Testing = pen & paper / computer ;)

Right VLS.
Thanks for advice.

You can have the live casino open while testing the system for free at the computer or tracking manually.

This really gives you experience (I.e. you feel the actual waits in minutes between bets) and it can be exciting to see the system beat actual spins as they come live.

When it loses it doesn't cost you a bankroll, so you get something (excitement on a win and no actual financial loses :))

I'm doing okay, had a big win last week of $250-minus bank fees=$193 (not so big, eh).

$193 for what?  Ken
Title: Re: Anyone making money?

Ok, Ken, If you insist

Bella Vegas online casino had a Memorial Day celebration by rewarding all members with a $50 courtesy chip coupled with a $2000 wagering requirement.    I played roulette with my $50, met the wagering requirement and won $300.    From that point, the casino removed the original $50 courtesy amount, minus $20 to wire to the bank-minus $37 bank charge=$193.

I make money consistently at the live casinos but have found that the online computer programmes are just too tough to beat.

I just wish I was younger and single so I didn't have any responsibilities and could bet every other day.  This is because my strategy requires you to patiently wait until a trigger appears for a 'large' bet to be placed, and this only happens about once every hour so it's quite tedious.  Two 'large' bets per day and I'm off!

If you are looking for a consistent strategy may I suggest that you look for one that doesn't require you to bet on every spin and one that doesn't have a progression.

I hope this helps
Steve

Steve dear,
Two large bets per day and I'm off!

And when it goes;after--1-3-2-1-3--AGAIN--1-3-2-1-3-

--YOU ARE DOWN--2600-bucks if only first 3 misses, let alone lose 5400 bucks on the 4th, miss, and 16200 lose on the 5th miss--summing up lose of 24200 bucks to win 100 bucks.

Hi FLAT IN O,

Sorry you don't appear to have a real name that I can use.

I'm not quite sure what the numbers are in your sequence or the amounts that you quote.

I mentioned nothing about me using a progression or betting to win a lousy $100!

Are you mixing me up with someone else or deliberately trying to be antagonistic? I've only just registered as a new member and I feel unwelcome already.

Kind regards
Steve (real name and proud of it!)

To be honest, I'm about even playing roulette.  I have concentrated on playing the Full Trio Play System with a little different betting selection method than just pick an even chance and stay with it no matter what.  I should be way ahead, but personal control has cost me most of my profits.

I think the hardest thing to learn to win is self discipline.  Don't play when you're tired.  Don't interact with the other players.  Don't play with money you can't afford to lose.  Stick to your stop-loss target.  If you get up a reasonable amount, say 25 units or more, DON'T LET THEM TAKE MORE THAN HALF OF IT BACK!  Don't set a win target.  As long as you're winning, keep playing until you have a downturn then walk.

Don't play with money you can't afford to lose is very important.  When I say money you can't afford to lose, I mean money that you counted as lost that you use for roulette play.  It's surprising how hard it is to follow a progression that get's steep because you get nervous about betting the money you're suppose to be able to afford to lose.  So, you don't make that next bet and take the loss, and bingo, the bet would have won and saved you a bundle.  This messes your head up and you start making mistakes, etc...

Roulette can be beaten, but personal control must come first.  I am working on self-control by playing with small size units and trying to work my way up to larger units.  It's like a sport, you can't play in the big leagues until you've paid your dues in the little leagues.  Muscle memory is important in roulette also.

Now that I've backed off to small unit size, I'm actually becoming a better roulette player.  Guess what?  It's actually spilling over into life as well.  I find the same things that are helping my roulette game are helping every part of my life.

Cheers, George

@George,

You made some good points there.  You really do have to learn to walk before you can run.
The problem with betting the big bets is the emotional aspect about it.  To win at this game requires you to be detatched from all emotion.  It is hard enough to win as it is.  If you are also experiencing a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows because of your money management, then look out because you might be heading for more trouble than you bargained for!

Learning how not to lose or to limit your losses to as little as possible is a good first step.  After that part is taken care of, the wins should then put you in profit.

I personally think it is important to take a long term view of things.  I may lose today, this week even, but if I stick to my plan, I will come out ahead in the long run and that is a comforting thought that you can have in the back of your mind when things get a little rough.  There is no need to chase or risk big bets.  Keeping up good habits will bring the rewards.

There was an old saying that "if you look like a general, talk like a general and think like a general, then you are a general" The same can be applied to gaming.
Think like a winner, look like a winner and act like a winner and it is pretty much certain that you will indeed be a winner.

A limit has to be set of profit and loss. A player even if had won initially doesn't stop betting till he loses heavily. This tendency is very dangerous. I think if you earn or lose 1/4th of your bankroll in the very beginning, you should walk away.
