Hi all,
This morning my pc made me furious...and I for one would troubleshoot a friend/clients machine and leave a good old format to the last, but my own stuff, I don't have the time to sit without my equipment, so after a good format and restore of my backup I just thought about something.
I'm going to call it the "Backup Plan"
Here's what it's about:
Surely we all have our systems/methods we play, but what happens when you hit that dreadful run....what is your "backup plan"
For example - I'll play system A, hit a down, and use my old trustworthy system B, as a recovery or backup system.
Share you "Backup Plan" when all else fails!
Regards,
my backup plan is always martingale, especially when I start gambling with other system and it fails.. I usually play for a short time - 1hour or 1.30 mins, so it helps most of the time.
Wow, didn't expect anyone to use Marti for recovery.
You would use this playing a specific system?
I usually play Double Street or its modifications, but Marti helps me relax when loosing and it pays out what I have lost :)

but Marti helps me relax when losing
:o
Hello dear PB... In my opinion this is not advisable at all!
If any, the backup plan should be more along the lines of a REVERSED positive progression with a *****MINIMAL***** starting unit since you are on a negative tide.
If you hit the come-back streak to at least
break even, then it's time to pick your units and get up.
The backup plan should be aimed at minimizing the loss and/or breaking even.
The casino will open tomorrow, that's for sure :)
Cheers!
Vic

Relax? Playing Martingale to try to recoup losses? :o And you find that
relaxing?
You must own a casino! LOL
@ Vic,
That's exactly the point I was trying to make.... to break even!
The plan mostly used to get back what you lost...or even just partially.
you misunderstood me :-[ usually when I lose, I bet the amount I lost + a little bit more for recovery next time. I usually play with emotions, that's why I never place large bets. I didn't aim to advice it to someone, I just posted what I do. It is up to you whether you copy my strategy or not.
As for martingale, it helps when making even-money bets, so it is not as useless as you can imagine :D
P.S. esoito I wish I owned :D
