No not the programme on British TV.
No this is a topic which I feel could really benefit us all particularly newbies. I have allready discussed this with a dear freind and want to open this up to my friends on the forum, to maybe share ideas and see if we can come up with: Why this happens and ways of dealing with it.
OK to give an example, to explain what i mean by the wall.
Have you had one of those sessions, where you are testing a new system on a live real wheel, so im not talking about RNG here. The wins come regularly, you can do nothing but win. Then you switch to real play, on the same live wheel and you hit "The Wall".
The wins become infrequent and results you were previously not experiencing occur. Sometimes you might even hit panic mode and then disaster really does strike.
I have discussed this and my thoughts on this now are, that it is purely psychological, ie the real danger you could lose your bank roll.
So what can we do to counter this? There must be some stratergies we can apply?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hmm I have never tested a live roulette, but have experienced the same situation on RNG a,long time ago, when I was just a roulette beginner and was testing my skills on a free RNG version. When I started betting for real, I was ripped off, while on a free version I nearly managed to double my money.... I agree, it is all that damn psychology......

Hi LL,
we all find that situations where hit the wall , we test...test...test ...and win ,then when start
real play ...boom...
So here is something that maybe will help you( or not). Let s say you already made your tests, all ok, now start real play....but before place any bet, play your system Virtualy
until you have one or more virtual wins, now enter into real play and go with the trend(tendency), if you are on the W streak stay there until lose once (or twice), if you enter
real play and lose then out from the real play (take the lose) and wait again for virtual win(s)
now start to bet real again....so on...
Ex: virtual play LLLw start real.....:wwL stop wait virtual w...w start real....L stop wait
...LLLLLww start real...L stop wait...Lw start real ...:::L stop wait....so on....
For hit and run systems , each L or w is one lost Session or won Session(virtual or real)
For continuous bets each L or w is one lose or one won . (virtual or real)
Try it, might hepl you ( enemy is LwLwLwLwLwwLw...)
cheers

here are some screenshots from the thread linked above, to prove that beta versions of the game win quite more! What a mess!
