Title: Sixty/forty
Post by: GLC on Sep 02, 12:13 AM 2011
This is an idea I had for even chances.

Our basic bet is approximately 60% of the amount we are down.

If we are at -1 to -5, we will bet to win 1 unit.

That's it.  Here's an example:

1  L    -1
2  L    -3
4  W  +1  reset

1  L  -1
2  W +1  reset

1  L   -1
2  L   -3
4  L   -7
4  L   -11
6  W  -5
6  W  +1  reset

1  L   -1
2  L   -3
4  L   -7
4  L   -11
6  L   -17
10 W -7
4  W -3
4  L  -7
4  W -3
4  W  +1  reset

1  L   -1
2  L   -3
4  L   -7
4  L   -11
6  L   -17
10 L  -27
16 L  -43
24 W  -19
12 L   -31
17 W  -14
8  W  -6
4  W  -2
3  L   -5
6  W  +1  reset

With a good bank (500-1000 units) this is extremely stable and can weather some really bad deviations.  I've survived a 35% wins vs 65% losses with it pretty easily.  I only got to -110.

As you can see, with a good win vs loss ratio, it doesn't take long to pull out a win.

It's simple and easy to play.  Use your won bet selection.

As I recomended elsewhere in the forum, I wil do it again,  you should consider changing bet selection once in a while. If your bet selection was loosing at 35%, it should recover in the "near" future, so in this case  I would recomend you keep playing it till it reaches at least about 45% or maybe even more.

I also think that we should virtually play all EC's bet selection methods available, and change to real play everytime they drop bellow a certain winning percentage (anything less then 40%). This is just an idea I have, I don't have the means to track it exactly, currently I use RX to record spins and do some analysis "on the fly" while I play. I usually can only focus in 1 or 2 betting patterns a time, with a great margin for error, since I do it semi-manually. Yet, it is working wonderfully with the MM I use and I have not yet loss a session, neither I have passed from a 8 unit bet until now. I dont think I will ever lose a session, I dont have a stop limit, my limit is the bank roll, but in order for me to loose the bank roll I would need to have something like 100 losses - 10 wins or less ratio (don't think I will ever be able to see this happening, even if I tried to loose all my bets on purpose...)

Gambling fallacy.

Gambling fallacy.

I'm not so sure. I just checked  a couple dozen sessions on wiesbaden ( might do  more tomorrow ), and the less hit of red/black never goes below 44% ( avg.: 46.5% ). Yet in some instances the first 20 spins of the session lean towards one colour 3/1. It's a small sample, but still. Of course it may take a long time to balance.
