Title: Streaks and toggles
Post by: Turner on Sep 21, 11:36 AM 2011
I do like to play this one I saw on Turbo Genious site.

basically, he puts it to us that when Red is streaking, i.e. 12, 34 (red/red) then
the other evens bets usually will toggle, so high to low, odd to even.
In the case above (12,34) then we predict that the high, even no.34 will go low, odd
say no.7. likewise, if colour toggles i.e 12, 35 (red/black) then the other evens bets would streak.
In this case (12,35) we would predict no.35 being h/o the next number will also be h/o, say 27.

In the first case, He bet on all low odd numbers (1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17) flat 1 unit.

its a bit annoying when the next number was 8, and you got the low bit correct, so I
modified it to suit me. it needed a rule,
First of all, I just randomly picked l/h or o/e
example:
1 red
30 red
predict low (because colour is streaking and 30 is high. but I could have predicted odd. I just picked one of the 2 choices)

next no. is 31

Thats annoying, I should of picked odd.

I needed a rule, so I made one up out of thin air.

If red is last I go l/h
If black is last I go o/e

no reason why...It just makes me decide.

so
16 (red) 14 (red) = bet high (red was last, low will toggle)
16 (red) 15 (black) = bet odd (black was last, odd will streak)
15 (black) 1 (red) = bet low
15 (black) 15(black) = bet even

I used a D'Alembert from £5 (place £5, if it wins place £4, if it loses place £6: -1 bet for a win, +1 bet for a loss)

This won £54 profit last night on Live roulette online in 53 spins. Of couse, I was seeing the numbers live and puting them in RX and placing the bets in RX.
I wont try this for real yet.

hi Turner, thanks for posting this.

couple of questions - when you got down to betting only 1 unit, did you  re-set straight away to betting 5? i like the d'Alembert started from a higher number.. sometimes only getting 1 unit per win for a good streak can be a bit frustrating.

& did you have a stoploss in mind for this? I wonder what the drawdowns would be that we can expect? or biggest bets?

cheers,
m

at times even flat betting will do.

i flatbet for a chop (r/b) for 1000 spins & finished +13:-

                        Total
100 spins    +8    +8
200 spins    +2    +10
300 spins    -2    +8
400 spins    +8    +16
500 spins    +5    +21
600 spins    +8    +29
700 spins    -5    +24
800 spins    -8    +16
900 spins    -6    +10
1000 spins   +3    +13

it's a very stable bet selection, the highs & lows are usually within reasonable parameters.

(for example: also tried 1250 spin test for h/l using progression 2-1-2-3, finished +45.
The biggest shift downward was a gradual movement resulting in a loss of about 40 units in 200 spins, which it then recovered in the next 100 spins. It then hovered within +/- 10 units for about 500 spins, making it very stable to lay the right mm on.)

I use it for normal chops, or toggles, but i've never seen it in conjunction with opposing streaks on other ECs as presented here.

It's just asking for the right kind of mm in my opinion, tried all sorts, that's why was interested in the d'Alembert beginning at 5.

a normal d'Alembert can deliver good results (so far for me anyway), if used with the LW registry to try & keep it in check but its weakness is only winning 1 unit at a time on a winning streak, hence the attempt at 2-1-2-3.

monaco, thanks for the intense testing.

What about if you bet both other toggles or streaks.

So, 11, 13 (B,B) bet high and even. It seems stable, so when it isnt you get your money back, say 31 (high but not even)

Thats more in line with TurboGenious when he did flat bet high and even numbers 1U on each number.

10k spins test

longest winning streaks -- 8

longest losing streaks
*9 losses -8 times
*10 losses -2 x
*11 losses -1 x
*16 losses - 1x

for what is worth

i just don't get a strong enough connection between streaks on 1 ec, say colours, & toggles on the other 2, to really make a difference. Sometimes it's there, but it seems to me, just as many times it's not.

Maybe your own tweaks & the way you used the d'Alembert is what helped you win originally.
