Title: Van der Waerden's theorem
Post by: MAX on Oct 02, 01:06 PM 2011
This is a interesting theorem which could assist in bet selection.

Have any body done research on it?

Using the Pigeon  Hole principal by placing bets on dozens when only one even chance does not qualify on the Van der Waerden's theorem.

The problem appears if a dozen sleep to long and then a big bankroll is needed.

This theorem is quite interesting because it can even be used on  more then 9 numbers, like 18...

hi max,

regarding the pigeon hole principle you might look through the posts of the forum member Dyksexlic.

Only problem there is he never really gave us much info, I coded what Victor and I thought he was saying but it collapsed, apparently he ended up covering almost the whole table with plenty of chips, maybe we did it wrong, I don't know, but we never got the full explanation.

EDIT: I still have the files for what we think is his system so if someone can work out what he was saying I can re jig the bot for it.

Hi,

If you could send those files I would be very thankful.

Thanks

When I said files I actually meant code, as in programming files for the bot, sorry for any confusion mate.

According to the theorem there must be a repeat of the same chance at least three times in nine outcomes with the same distance between them and that is a fact.

Example : LLHHLLHLL

There 511 possible combination of nine chances with 142 combination that can go both ways.(+-)

511-142=369 winning combination.

Example of both ways :LLHLHHLLH ( here it can be H or L to form three in a row.)

A different combinations of bets could improve the odds.

I found this on the internet just yesterday.

right at the begining t the author presents a pigeon hole calculation for roulette. maybe we could find a way to create a bet from this.
