Title: How do I work my Z-score out?
Post by: Chrisbis on Nov 12, 07:37 AM 2011
Could one of the Maths guys please remind/show me how to work out my Z-score please.

thanks.

I am betting this array:-

0.09   (0.01  x 9 numbers)
0.11   (0.01  x 11 numbers)
0.26   (0.02  x 13 numbers)
0.60   (0.04  x 15 numbers)
1.35   (0.08  x 17 numbers)
3.23   (0.17  x 19 numbers)
8.40   (0.40  x 21 numbers)
26.45 (1.15 x 23 numbers)

in a 8 step progression list on inside numbers. so the pay is 36:1 on each bet.

Question: would I have a Z-score for each level?

As far as i know the z score is how many bets you win to how many you lose and how many numbers you bet on. There is an excel file on the forum that you just fill in the numbers and it does it for you a quick search should locate it for you

Search for "how to know when you have a good strategy" on the  old VLS.
There's a program on there by Tangram (Bayes?) for z scores. Not sure if it works for progressions though.
