Was at the casino last night and watched a guy loose 6000 dollars. Maybe this guy wins but from what I saw it wasnt a very good way to play. 5 dollar chips american wheel he bet 1 chip on 5-7-11-32-and 2 chips on 17-20. After a win he would bet 2 chips on 5-7-11-16-18-19-21-32-and 10 chips on 17-20. He just kept doing it over and over for the first hour where he lost his first 1000. Then he doubled up and lost his second 1000. That took about 25 mins. Off too the bank machine and back and by the way the numbers he was playing didnt come in while he was gone. Now he starts beeting really heavy on 17-20 every spin still betting 1 chip on his other numbers. 20 spins another 2000 gone. Pit boss consoling, knew him by first name, wow never saw your numbers sleep this long. Off to get more money. Comes back switches tables 25 minutes later 2000 more gone. #1 rule is nothing is ever due. A lesson to all !!!!! GJ
There's a danger in martingale betting. It is evident here.
Above all self-discipline with stop-losses/ target win balance is crucial.
Yeah, mathematically, I don't think a stop-lost is very that useful, but mentally its a good idea to take a break once in a while. Good lesson here (:
This guy has no problem to be banned from a casino. they love him for sure. i hope he can afford what he lost. hopefully he did not lose money for something real necessary. Unfortunately some people lose fortunes just like this. Well, that's self destruction if u r a not millionaire. And even a millionaire can lose everything to casinos. >:D
.....and thats how I used to bet. (It just has to hit !!) :(

When I was in maketing we did a focus group to try and detemine what was the price someone would pay for an enty level laser printer, using the range as A. too cheap, B about right but there is probably better for a bit more and C. maybe a bit expensive.
I think £77 was cheap, £99 felt right and probably wasnt a cheap product and £129 was getting a bit expensive
I did this for myself, and when I do go in a casino, or bet online I imagined that £30 was a low figure, £45 was ok to lose and I wouldnt feel too bad the day after (a meal for 2 with drinks is about that) and £65 is getting to where it may sting in the morning.
Some of you high rollers are probably laughing your butts off as you read lol
More or less, that's why I test system in terms of units.
Units are relative to everyone's bankroll and something we can all figure out what it means. Maybe 6k is nothing for this guy xD ... I just doubt it.
If he was a high roller, he'd check out way more money or play in another casino/other games maybe, I dunno x3 I'll tell you my preference if I'm ever that rich, ahah.
Poor guy!
Tehee~ (:

Ken, your photo is so serious, I'm not sure when you are being serious or not LoL.
I meant.....heres me contemplating £45 when some gamblers put that on each time.
Remember, my old fella was a compulsive gambler who lost 1000's + job + family.
I suppose its all relative to the person. My £65 loss may sting to me more than some peoples £2000 loss. I dunno!
I see a lot of Asians in manchester casino wacking money on 3 roulette tables at one time like I throw slug pellets on me Hosta's!!
