Title: Threaten to go to the press?
Post by: MrJ on Dec 14, 08:27 PM 2011
I've wondered about this for a long time. I do NOT want this to be an arguement between AP and method players, I could careless about that aspect. Lets say you are doing well for months at your local casino(s) regardless of the game etc.

You are brought aside and threatened to be BANNED from the casino. I know they can ban you for 'whatever' reason they choose, thats fine. What about threatening BACK and saying you'll go to the press and tell them your sour story about how certain non-cheating customers are not welcomed.

I would think a LOUSEY story on the local news or the newspaper would really get the casino to think twice about the ban? Not saying I'm right, its only my opinion.

I don't think you would get too much sympathy from the public if you were banned for winning even though you did not cheat.  Don't think it would hurt the attendance much.

Now, if you were that poor Austrian who won $57,000,000 at a casino and they refused to pay out claiming it was a software error!!!  That would get some attention and might cause a few people to go to another casino.

Then again, if the casino was the only one around, I doubt it would have much effect anyways.
