Its a Sunday afternoon before I head out to the casino, I thought I would drop a quick note to my REAL friends here. I'm done posting (at all boards). I either need a LONG break or I'm done posting all together. I'm kind of breaking my own rule....never say goodbye, just in case I come back again, I'll look like a goof (lol).
Steve has the option to remove me as a mod, I respect whatever choice he makes. Dont send me any PM's, I doubt I'll be checking in. Why am I done?
Well, I need to focus MORE on playing at the casino and doing my testing/studying etc. I need (and will) go back to playing 6 days a week instead of 2-3. I feel I am LOSING money with all my board involvment. The people who can NOT think outside the box were probably 50% responsible for my decision. Whether its at the Wizard board (GG2), or GG1 and even JP's board.
"Well Ken, 2+2 will never = 5".
I've had enough. Owning a gambling forum does not mean you are a pro....it simply means....you own a gambling forum (not talking about you Steve). I believe 100% that NOT all people that bash methods, actually think that way. I think a good portion of them simply say it IN ORDER to go along with the crowd. Thats my opinion, like it or not, thats cool with me.
I think another portion of the nay-sayers never gave roulette a real chance. You cant throw in the towel after studying it for 9 lousey hours or because you read it in a book....."dont ever play roulette".
Some people are TOO LAZY to really commit to the game. I also think there are some closet roulette players that won't post about it (at other boards) because they are too afraid. This is 2012 and people are AFRAID to post about roulette, I just dont get it. I will NEVER quit playing roulette, NEVER. The game is 'somewhat' easy. I'm NOT saying every day is a winning day but MANY are. Trial & error guys, I cant say it enough.
Ken
So long Ken. May the randomness be with you.
Man.........
I know I shouldn't say anything as you have chosen your path but don't forget that a lot of players like your posts and insights. Would be good for them if you checked in once in a while with strategies stories and humor, for you to :) I agree that you have to focus more on your playing as you have done a tremendous job as a mod for a very long time.
Hope to see you around again sometime Ken.
AMK
Best of luck. You are a giant among we mortals.
Ken, sorry to hear this. Keep the mod status in case you return. You may find though that stopping completely is a bit extreme. Or you may find you simply cant half quit. Either way you are always welcome to contribute anytime you want to.
mr J

Ken
Hopefully your hiatus wont be long. People usually always come back here.
Anyway happy winnings
Regards
Ken, so long...and come back. You'll be missed. Would love to keep in touch with u by email if possible.
and of course happy winnings!
Ken, hope you continue to kill it. The very best to you.
I always enjoyed your posts Ken! I wish you well and please do come back.
Twilight Zone at best, severely-dysfunctional at worst.
Never ceases to amaze, how a person can be constantly on these boards for years, then just "pull the plug" on it all... without any sort of valid explanation, or recourse.
The overwheming majority come and go. Others try to re-invent themselves. A strict handful are so-deluded, to the point of "one-man marching bands" to oblivion. And some, like Ken, just "turn off".
i think Ken is doing very well. He quit the board (if he did, because i am not sure about it) not out of desperation, on the contrary, his time became too valuable to spend it here. That's good. I'll miss him.
Not only me i think.
Well, i've been around the gambling message-boards for over three years now. Started out at the GG, to watch it dwindle to nothing, especially because its owner has apparently died but turned the registration-process off shortly beforehand. Ken was there too, until Herb left. And it's paid up until sometime in 2016.
Then to the :.baccaratforums.com (link:://:.baccaratforums.com/) , actually one of the first to show up there. Helped build it up along the way, until the owner banned me "out of the blue" for giving an honest account of my own casino-play, etc. (Most persons who take the time to sign up for this sort of thing, are looking for one bit of fantasy after another, to fuel their own addiction and story-telling. Of couse, the greater most never even visit us, here and there... the 9-5 working guys and gals with real lives. Compare these sites, and these topics, with the those of the ones ranked at 5000 and under.) I don't mind putting out the link, it's just another "potatoes", privately-owned site by some guy in his living room who's trying to "suck" posters in for a bunch of on-line casinos to pay him for their sleezy advertising.
Then i started up a free site from Proboards, for free, or $7 a month to rid the ad. It became a pretty-good resource center for a spectrum of gaming/gambling items. I'm working full on one thing at the moment, so put it in maintenance mode last January, for a few more months. But i will definitely return there, to welcome the members-in-waiting.
So, i pop up to make a few quick comments when i have a few minutes. It's fun for me. In precisely half an hour, i have another Human Rights case to represent this morning.
But i'm never going to up and walk away. I lost $25K in ten minutes one day at the bj-table. Still here. Gotta put your money where your mouth is, dig in. Anyway, posting here takes a lot less time than a day/night at a casino; and i don't have to drive anywhere, or even get dressed. If you ever hope to beat a casino, the on-line information, including the day-to-day news, becomes the "corner stone" of your journey. Just read between the lines.
see ya--was always fun reading your stuff.....
Every ending has a new beginning.
All the best.
Regards
Max

All the best man.
