Hello Everyone.
For You What is the less volatile bet selection,-not money management- you did find?
What i mean is referring to the LW registry.
The bet selection that with flat betting, gives shorter streaks of losses.
Cheers
How I am longing to hear some answers on this topic.
We're it not for volatility, we'd all be rich.
Math says the more numbers you bet, the less volatile your system will be. Like five double streets. Not very volatile, but when it is--it's a killer. And it takes very little volatility to ruin the bankroll. No flat-betting here for sure.
I have long held the secret lies in multiple-proposition betting. I constantly search for the two propositions which will allow me to combine them into a bet, use a (gasp!) Martingale, and be assured of a winner every four bets. Don't care much if they are rather large, just want no fifth bet to be on the horizon.
I once raised the question of "Martingale Averaging" somewhere on some forum, or I stole it from someone maybe. I still go to sleep with that one kickin' about the ol' bean.

I've always wondered wether one can reduce volatility by sort of "diffusing" the bet selection.
this is just an example:
we play two groups of numbers. group A: 1-6; 16-17; 25-33
group B: 7-15; 19-24; 34-36. these two groups create two even money bets.
we could now play the usual FTL bet selection and would meet the usual fluctuation.
but what will happen if we add one more factor to our bet selection process? i.e. in case of a change from A to B (A A A B ...) we add the rule to "only follow the change and bet B if the last spun number was black. if it was red continue betting A.
would such an extra diffusor have an influence on volatility?
cheers
hans
did you test it?
i also tried with different sets of numbers, like opposite sectors...

ok, for "shorter streaks of losses" well, not joking,.............straight bet all numbers but 2 :ooh: for a 1u win

Well i don't use systems - but based upon what i read and hear so is RWD pretty good playing one number ...
@alberto
I haven't tested it, yet. these are just some thoughts that have wandered through my mind. of course, it might be a case of huckebein's fallacy. :)

Even with RX code ... enjoy ...
For low volatility stay away from roulette. Try sports. There are bets were a long L sequence is rare and the odds reasonably close to even. Horse racing and soccer but possibly also other sports.

EC-s based on marigny-s principles

Drazen
Now I'm drooling!!
Where do I find these principles? Under what thread name? Which forum?
Thanks
Sam
Yes TCS. Marigny can beat the darn house with that on La Partage...
Look amoung ego-s posts. He has also developed interesting bet selection based on Marigny and Markov chains principles.
Spice all that with Bayes-s point and figure methodology and you can get golden goose if you have enough patience and study it enough to connect all ingredients right...
