Title: Trying to play roulette like Blackjack
Post by: Turner on Jun 10, 02:00 PM 2012
This is very green...but I keep thinking of how to play Roulette like Blackjack.
Mabe this isn’t it…lol
The idea is to reach +5U then stop. Outside bets in most UK casinos are £5, so, £25
Blackjack is completly in the moment  give or take 1 or 2 decisions in that moment. It used to be an advantage game with card counting techniques but now the Constant Shuffling Machine (CSM) has killed card counting dead.
In BJ: A)We go with what we have, B) we double when our goal looks favourable and C) we split when we have like cards. D) we get a Push (don’t lose our bet)
Ok...I proposed this idea. For me, real outside bets are O/E. This distinction exists in every number. Lesser for me are R/B and H/L.
I am looking to be there when O/E streaks. Big streaks do happen. Small streaks of 3 and 4 happen often.
If odd or even are streaking in 2, i.e. 3, 11, I am betting odd again. This is BJ A) above
If this goes well and I see a 4 O/E streak i will Double my bet. This is BJ B) above.
If O/E has switched in 2 i.e. 3,28, I will play a split i.e. I say H/L and R/B wont switch.(C above)

If only one of those 2 bets win I get a push (D above)
Some numbers and an example:
B   R
6
              9     bet odd
26                -1U, bet H/B
            19    Push -1U, bet H/R
8                  -3U, bet L/B
2                  -1U, bet Even
            18   0U, bet even
            19   -1U, bet H/R
22               Push -1U, bet H/B
            34   Push -1U, bet Even
28               0U, bet Even
           10    +1U bet Double Even
22               +3U, bet even (1U)
           25    +2U, Bet H/R
           19    +4U, Bet Odd
           21    +5U <<<<<<<<<<<Stop
Its easy and fun if nothing else. The idea is to hang around grinding away until a O/E streak appears.
feel free to hate it

Turner . . . great post.   Too bad most members will gloss over it.

I think you now have an inkling that roulette cannot be beaten in the normal sense, but that it will take some out of the box thinking, like this black jack approach, or like some of your previous post concentrating on odd/even numbers rather than colors, etc.

Keep trying and posting and testing and if you need any help in testing, I have a lot of experience with Excel.

Enjoy the journey . . . Nick

Turner,

My old brain takes a lot of studying to grab a new idea, especially one as new as this.

Since I'm not sure your columns lined up quite right,  would you mind explaining your system to us a little differently.  I know that 's not always easy, but it would sure help.

Basically, its this.

if odd or even streak twice i.e 2,24 or 5, 31 I want to be there when it streaks for 5, 6 or 15!!!!.
I also want to be doing something profitable when it isnt streaking i.e 1,24 or 36, 1.

So if it isnt streaking, I will bet that the other outside bets will streak. So if the last 2 numbers are 1,22 (o/e) then the 22 is even and high. Its so simple to see without jotting a thing down on paper)

So I bet even and high. If it wins, its all good, but if 1 hits its a push. A push being you draw with the dealer and keep your bet. If it loses....sh*t happens.

Also (but its not compulsary) if I see 32, 34, then I bet even. If it wins, even again. If I see that the last 4 are even, I double the bet. If that wins I go back to 1U. I stay at 1U for the rest of the streak.

That may be improved on. Im just trying to play like blackjack. Maybe thats the wrong approach.

I DONT get sidetracked by the fact that during this up and down phase I see 2 black or 2 red streaking. Black red streaks dont count. I just like odd even as the main idea because odd and even are real with all numbers, not just a roulette wheel.

I have noticed that using progression on a loss gets too far away from the centre point of 0 too quickly. if I flat bet, it ambles around the 0 then jumps to 5U quick on a streak.

Same as evey other single system, it isnt a long term idea. It could be 2 U on 3 tables for 6 units. £30 up in 30 mins would be ok. Mabe thats too ambitious for now.

W=win, L=lose,P=push
1,3 (bet odd), 5W (bet odd), 2L (bet Low/even), 9P (bet low/odd),33P, (bet odd), 11W, 27W, (double bet seeing 4 odds), 35W(bet odd1U),2L (bet low even), 36P (bet even) etc

Hope this helps.

One other thing. If i reached +5U but a streak is still running carry on but if that streak stops so you are at+4U take it and stop.

I think its important to get out on a high
Change tables.have a break.
