Title: The Belter
Post by: buffalowizard on Aug 22, 07:31 AM 2010
Hi folks,

Try this out as I think it has legs.

Based on four blocks of 9 again:

1-9      =1
10-18  =2
19-27 = 3
28-36 = 4

Wait two spins. Example:

11
34   These equate to numbers 2 + 4 in the 9 blocks

Place bets on 2 + 4

7   Thats a loss, and part of block 1, so now we place bets on blocks 1 + 4

So basically, we are betting the previous two 9 blocks constantly.

Stop if you lose 4 in a row. Wait for a winner then start betting again. You could double or triple stakes until you are in or near profit and then reduce to original stake.

Enjoy.

The long string of winners there is quite rare, and expect a 4 loss, its how you manage it that counts. If you do, then this is profitable. Don't go using extended marty's. A steady prog should be enough

Thanks for the testing, BBJ

As you can see, with a solid money management, this can overcome the 4 losses. Perhaps it would be more beneficial to use a regressive prog. such as 2, 1, 2, 3,

I'm still not certain about what progression to use with this, if someone has any suggestions.
Thanks

Hi, buffalowizard,
thank you for your interesting approach to beat roulette.

I made a quick check with my real played spins and it looks good.

Perhaps a progression D`Alembert (1,2,3,4,5,6...and so on) would be interesting.

play: 1 unit till a LLLL wait for a trigger W thenn bet 2 units till a LLLL , wait for a W trigger then bet 3 units and so on.

This D`Alembert should be played till you have equalized the losses of the LLLL, then go back to 1 unit or back 1 step: means if you have 4 units in the game and you have got some wins you degress 1 step to 3 units.

This should be tested , it s only an idea.

Best regards

Hi Kawa,

Thanks for your progression idea, I think that would work really well. I think the non-aggressive approach would be better for this, in case of too many 4 losses.
I believe the good sessions would outnumber the bad, so it is battling these bad sessions which is key.
I will look into using your ideas.

A good one really. Very close to my smart progression technique. The main idea is to bet upon any set of numbers whether a single number or split or street or line or dozen or EC till break even point and if it doesn't appear till that, stop betting on it, and bet again with mild progression when it reappears.
The logic behind this is every set of number can not get hot and cold repeatedly.keep it up.

Maybe a regular question, but what is the LW strategy ?  Is that when you lose you stop betting till a virtual win ?

Edit: What is this, I wanted to write s t u p i d  question, but the word got changed to regular, that was not my intention :(

Hi BBJ,

yes that was a tough session. It would have been time to quit after the second consecutive 4 loss probably.

The LW would be to bet when a win comes after a loss. This could be just the one solitary bet until another trigger arrives. It's probably safer for this bet selection actually and the session you posted wouldn't have been so bad

In the last results I posted are 4 single W's in a row, and if I understand correctly, reaching the 4th loss with the LW strategy, so that can happen too then.

Edit: I will do some more testing today, and will post it here, and maybe with a balance example with it.   Luckily I do this with fun money with a demo account  :)

Yes that's correct BBJ. It would have been a losing session whichever way you attacked it. Hopefully these double losses are rare enough so that we can take advantage when they don't occur. Thanks for your testing mate

I gave this a try at william hill live casino.    I started out ok and got a couple of wins straight off the mark then got a long string of losses.    you're looking at quick up or quick down using this method.   :(

Hit and run maybe. . .

Thanks for posting buffalow. . . . .

Great testing BBJ. Maybe the LW strategy isn't the best way for this, and to go back to the original.

So only one test so far where there are 2 lots of consecutive 4 losses, which would be the natural stop/loss point.
