Title: Roulette Trend?
Post by: MrJ on Jun 21, 07:58 PM 2012
Question for the roulette trend guys. Lets say red has hit 9 times in a row. I guess we could call that a trend (future, past or present, whatever).

Question being......lets say red has hit 15 of the last 20 spins. We'll throw in one zero and four blacks, kind of scattered around.

Would you still say red is the current trend OR is the definition....it must be all back to back reds?

the issue here is about what kind of trend are u talking about.

if you are looking for short term (6 spins) then i guess black will be the one to bet
if you are looking for something longer (24 spins) then REDs....

but if you are looking at last 100 spins it will mean nothing.

i got the same problem when trying to develop trend indicator for MST.
the solution may be to gather multiple sized trends and take what's more dominant....
in 100 spins RED
in 36 spins BLACK
in 6 spins RED
then take red....

but that kind of approach is still flawed since there is no limit nor rule to random behavior.

also u can make dynamically sized trend... in this case... in your example red will be dominant.

Answer to your question: I'm looking at the LAST 20 outcomes.

Ken

then you are taking whats more dominant in last 20 outcomes.... that is the trend.

I would say yes, red is still the ‘trend’.
But you must remember the next spin will do whatever it wants to do. It could be red or it could be black and you can’t change that.
Also if a strong trend is starting to fragment and you lose a few bets on it, then it could be time to start looking for a new or different trend to bet on, or wait a few spins to see if it regenerates.
I think 20 spins is too many to consider. Compress the trend down to the last handful of spins. That way you can better see all the trends at a glance.

Same opinion here, 20 is too many to consider , I  look at the last 6....9 spins.
If I have 2 or 3 hits from the same group or event in the last 6....9 spins , i bet
that group or event  for the next few spins....

cheers

I that case ( yellow wheel) you still have 37 ( or 38) *yellow submarines *(or monkeys, or....)
inside the wheel. That submarines still show up like hot or cold or middle individual submarines,
or will show up in hot or cold or middle submarine groups.
What the trend player do is ...try to catch that hot (or middle) yellow submarines , individuals
or in groups, and bet for the next few spins only, because others yellow submarines (or groups
of submarines) will take the control very soon.

S= yellow submarine,  s1.......s37

s34
s24
s12
s3
s23
s34
s33
s14
s31   why not bet from s11...to s14, and from s31...to s34 ? for
        the next 4 spins (or 6 )

This is the trend on the yellow wheel.
Of course we can lose or we can win when bet on the next few spins.

cheers

Thanks for jumping onto my "stripped-back" question.

OK, the paint stripper applied, we have the wheel as it is now.
So thats sectors.....
Question.....
Are there any trends to be had on the numbers as presented, so imagine your submarine numbers are real numbers off the wheel. Could I bet on the same idea, or is that taboo to trend betters. Wheel order only.....not number order?

So, I bet on trends by looking at the marque, not the wheel.

Hi Turner,
yes sectors , wheel order only....
That was just the answer to your question so an example of trend ....
also is one way to bet on hot (actual) sectors.
Anyway that is not my tipe of bet , i prefer pockets(from the last nr. spun) and some
trend/hot play (flat bet)on 9 numbers groups( see excel file).

cheers

I ask a question and I get a very polite and concise answer which sticks rigidly to the question I asked.

it will never catch on Kattia... lol

Thanks
