I was reading something on-line related to 'win goals' (again) and came across this >>
Starting
Bankroll Percentage Win Goal
$ 200 20% $40
$ 400 20% $80
$ 600 20% $120
$1000 20% $200
$1500 20% $300
$2000 20% $400
$3000 10% $300
$4000 8% $320
$5000 7% $350
$6000 6% $360
"As your starting bankroll increases, the percentage return drops, because you want to get to your goal as soon as you can, then wrap up your profits".
I realize, not all of us are gonna walk in the casino with 6K but the POINT of this is what grabbed my attention. The higher your BR, your win goal PERCENT should go down(?) I'm not sure how much we talked about this (if it all) in the past. I always shot for 20% regardless of BR amount, now I'm re-thinking it.
Changing the subject a bit......I still stand behind MY previous advice. Lets say your WIN GOAL is 20% and your BR is $300 ($60). On a particular win, lets say you go OVER the $60 (we'll say $72). Keep on playing for more profit. If/when you DROP back down to $60, quit for the day. You still met your 20% win goal.

Ken...sometime the obvious isnt that obvious.
I struggle...if I am going to open up a bit, with this aspect you encroach upon
I do fine at the "bum sat on the sidewalk who has again wiped out his families income" scenario.
I really can say without fear of contradiction that I never go too low. I owe no one nothing.
My problem is at the point you mentioned. 20% is £120 over your £100 BR. modest...i know.
I get to £132 and will get absolutly no comfort from coming away with a £12 profit.
I certainly will end all pissed off at £110. Thats a win. Why am I pissed off?
That little margin u mention is the "jiggy" point.
Im doing well...I am a winner.
Its a difficult area for me if Im honest.
I find this to be the case for me......
I can do fine betting small bets on a hundred-dollar bill. Like $1 for starters and using a progression.
Upping the BR to 1,000 and using $10, I would be sweating like a pig.
Any higher and I'd just pass out.
When it becomes no fun, it's time to reach for the guitar again.

If we have a winning system we don t care about winning targets.
Just a BR that the system requires and you can make as much as you like...
But if we gamble , then yes, a winning target is a good thing to have...but if we are gambling then this means that we are gamblers and gamblers don t have winning targets.
So never gamble....
With single zero roulette the casino's win goal is 2.7%, nonstop.
Why should we as players of a game with the odds stacked against us expect any better than the casino's win goal?
So I have also set my win goal at 2.7%.
Bank 432 units.
Win goal 12 units.
stop-loss 108 units.
Using a progression on the ECs I often get to a position where I need only a few units to reach the win goal (lets say 2) but the next bet is (lets say 8 units). If it wins I have overshot the win goal by 6 units.
What I do in this instance is start the next session (go home & come back, or take a break & come back, or start off again straight away - makes little or no difference) in the 6 unit position of my progression. From there 2 wins in a row and I reach the next 12 unit win goal, etc.
Opposite thing when I lose. If I only need to lose a few units to reach the -108 stop-loss (lets say 6) and the next bet is (lets say 16) I will only bet 6 units to reach 108 (a saving of 10 units). If I lose I start the next session in the 10 unit position of my progression.
If I win I continue to grind from the 6 unit postition of my progression.
that's how I deal with extra winnings when playing the ECs.
It looks like we should take a break, when a certain win have happen, if we are in a good streak or not.
I do not think very much in this thought will make the total better. It may be a limit of time the brain can work well, and soon or later need a rest. You may feel its not your day and stop for the day.
Chasing losses may need a break first.
All pauses, tracking or waiting inside or outside a casino, will of course extend the time the bankroll last. Last longest if we never play, but give no winnings.
Today I had a long grinding session and eventually got to +9 with 3 units to go for +12.
Next bet was 22 units >>> Win!
Final result +31 units. That's 2 times +12 win goals with 7 units over.
Tomorrow I start at 7 units going for +12!
