Title: Types of Wagering
Post by: Maui13 on Aug 24, 10:02 AM 2010
Hi all,

I thought that we should create a wagering topic i.e. get everyone's different opinions on different bets and wagering methods.
So if you have a "secret' method/system/strategy you don't have to share it, but merely your way of progression....

Sometime members here (and other sites) come up with good methods, but their wagering kills their "system" quickly. This is just to help all.As I am no roulette guru, I"ll lave this to the experienced chaps!

Here are the contestants, please add/change where you feel necessary.

Singles

Splits

Trio's

Corner

Line

Row / Dozen

EC (R/B,O/E,H/L)

In regards to our favorites? Or why we prefer a particular bet?  Ken

My views:

Singles
There's a good progression on them posted by Ken (I think) but betting on singles or splits can be too risky so I'm more likely to avoid them.

Splits
Risky and difficult in my humble opinion.

Trio's
And streets... ok way to bet I'd say but not my fav... Tracking last 5 and bet the non hits could be an ok mehod.

Corner
Only useful to me when I want to cover Zero when creating a dozen/even chance.

Line
Streets? I like double streets betting.
- Track lasts to bet unhits.
- Light progression on each individually.

Row / Dozen
That's how I believe we have more chances of winning more than losing; part 1:
- Light progression on 3 double dozens (+3 double columns)
- Light progression on 3 dozens individually
- Same progressions as above plus creating more dozens to bet on at the same time (eg. dozen 4: corner 0,1,2,3 + corner 11,12,14,15 + corner 22,23,25,26)
- Same progressions as above plus creating more double dozens.
- Up as you lose on 1 dozen + 1 column

EC (R/B,O/E,H/L)
That's how I believe we have more chances of winning more than losing; part 2:
- Light progression on all ECs (or all ECs plus more ECs created by the player using corners and covering zero eg. 9 ECs progressing together with Zero covered on 3 ECs)
- Lanky's progression on 2 opposite ECs eg. ODD and EVEN individually.

Uhm....good question.

Let's assume you play dozens and any variation (double dozen etc) what is a favorite of the roulette community. "Global" favorite... and personal.  With what have YOU had success.

Aggressive/conservative doesn't matter....any wagering/progression/bet/ money management

I play singles using 1,2,3,4,3,2,1,  (example) perhaps also a brief description if you win/lose scenario too.
