Title: New to the Forum
Post by: CallMeRed on Jun 02, 08:43 AM 2014
Hi everybody, I'm new here, hence the intro!  :xd: I love roulette, it's all I play at the casino. My husband teases me for using my (somewhat) emotional system, but then again, he sure doesn't complain when I win! Hope to talk with all of you soon!

Welcome to the forum Red.  It's always nice to have a new perspective.  I hope you find enough to move you along in your roulette skills and I hope you give us some new ideas as well.  But I warn you, it's a challenge to come up with a new twist.  We've been twisting this game for a long, long time.

Cheers and good luck,

GLC

Thanks so much GLC! I appreciate the welcome. Having said that and now looking around the forum, I really only play when I go to the casino physically. I haven't gotten into the onlive gaming part of it yet, so many of the terms and electronic versions or strategies are making me wonder if I should take my game online?  ;) I have a ton to learn, but when I play at a casino, I almost always win and go home with money, sometimes a lot. So, I'll have to think about doing it online, I suppose...

If you play on-line, only play at approved casinos and only play a live dealer.  Never take bonus money unless you're well versed in all the pitfalls.  Only play for short sessions.  I don't play on-line either but have heard some horror stories.

Yeah, thanks for the advice. I'm a little nervous to try it out. And why do you say never to take the bonus money offered? It is some kind of trap? And short sessions, yes. I knew about that one. Thanks for your help!

Here's a good place to start reading.

Also, just do some searches for the key word you're interested in and you should get all the info you want/need.

Two things that make any bonus tough to play with any on line roulette. Read it all in their Terms & Conditions.

1. To win a payout they usually require a play through many multiples of the bonus. It could be x30 or x40 the bonus. So eg a $200 bonus x30 = a $6,000 total amount made in your bets. So in simple terms say you were betting $10 per time it would take 600 bets & not busting by winning more than losing to do that.

Your own deposit is exempt from the play throughs but usually the bonus money plays are counted 1st ?  As any casino always has a % odds edge over the player, that in itself makes it tough to beat.

2. Often to make things even harder to win on a bonus many casinos restrict the table bet cover. Things like only being able to bet any 15 numbers vs all the numbers (maybe 35/37 or 35/38) with your own money. Not being able to bet on Red or Black or the other Even Chances as well as double Dozens or Columns because they don't want to even have a close to 50/50 chance or 2/3 chance of winning.

In short bonuses are a suck in con job & not worth the trouble of maybe playing for hours on the remote chance of success.

Gotcha, thanks guys for the welcome and the tidbits of info. I appreciate it as I fumble about the forum!  :xd: It can be fun to try and figure out all the abbreviations and lingo, but I'm picking up a ton as I go!

Hello CallMeRed welcome to the Forum.

Glad you are winning :d

Online gaming is a tricky dance because you can get accustomed to the convenience.
However there are many shoddy operators online that will cheat, RNG or Live Wheel.

I look forward to your posts.  Also if you need help just ask :)
