Nobody, other than the intended recipient, can read PMs unless I manually went through the mysql database, and that alone would be a headache.

I assume you have phone notification for new emails.
When someone sends you a private message on the forum, you will get notification via email. The person who sent you the message never gets your email address.
Is this all you are complaining about? Making a big fuss over your misunderstanding? Maybe you should carefully learn what you are talking about before going all crazy.

Moonstone I think you are "Dazed & Confused" about forum PM's & how they work ? As Steve has already said a forum PM generates 2 things = 1. A private non forum read item for ONLY YOU in the My Message section, up top near the orange home logo & an automated forum back up generated email to you of that same message. SAS only controls the PM content & has nil access to any members email unless they allow it. If you look carefully at the email message you should see that it did not come from SAS ? It would be the same for others if you sent them a PM. The PM & the email will have exactly the same content.
Anger doesn't mean you can do or say what you like, as on most forums. It's no different here on CC & VLS forums. Break the rules & expect action from our moderators.
Just some friendly advice from a "NORMAL" forum member.
