If Blanc changed the mat to look like the wheel, would it make any difference.

I think it wouldn't.
Long time ago someone mentioned on one of these forums, that in Macau, there is a roulette wheel on which the numbers are in increasing order. I don't know if that's true, but I believe it would produce the same randomness.

Its just another set of 3's. There are millions....but if you think about the last 3 unique no.s, its hit 3 times.

Hi ati,
it's true, the wheel is called Dragon Roulette in The Venetian Macau, wheel numbers in order, black is even and red is odd. Another great difference is that it has some special "masking technology" that the glass turns white when the ball is spinning, so there's no chance for V B players. It has dealer to throw the ball, not auto wheel. Table layout is the same as the traditional one.
Last time I saw it was last year, not sure the casino still have the wheel now.

Even though it should give us the same results, I do admit, these are the types of IDEAS that keep me awake at night.

Some form of event betting this could become.

I belive the wheel layout is the best way to know the wheel.
It is a great feeling to know what number is next to the hitting number without looking at the wheel.

Totally agree, amazing how much more interesting it is once you have memorised the layout of the wheel.

The ball is on the wheel and not on the table  :)

We just put our bets on the table cuz of how the wheel behaved
