Title: Loking for help from excel experts
Post by: soggett on Jan 25, 01:41 PM 2015
Hy there, excel noob here :D

so if any of you excel masters out there can help me that would be great.

i am looking to make a tracker, nothing fancy
It should let me enter numbers and then to the right show me last x amount of unique single numbers and to the right of that unique streets.
So if I input to show me the last 7 unique appearances It should look like this

7
11
36
25   25   9
1     1    1
7     7    3
36   36  12
15   15  5
32   32  11
11   11  4

something like that
and it should refresh as i go, meaning as I enter each new number it should show me the last x unique values

is that hard to do?
has anyone something like that already?

I have a very good tracker that I use that I downloaded here from someone (can't remember who), Ill attach it so you can see what I use, it can be the same style, same look, heck even the same file (maybe 2 more rows added)?

whatever is easier

thanks a bunch

regards,
S.

Hello .. .

I have updated your tracker to show the last 7 Unique Straight Numbers and Streets.

If they are not unique it will show an "R" for Repeat.

Hope this helps.

We may have an Excel compatibility issue as it appears you have an older version, but see if it works.

Cheers

Nick

wow, thanks a lot
works like a charm as far as I can tell

can u just tell me how do I change it to track the last 10? or any other amount I want to try

scratch that, I checked, it tells me only last 7 unique in last 7 spins, I want it to tell me last 7 unique period. so it should scan back as far as it can till it has 7 unique

Do you get what I mean? english is not my native language so maybe we missunderstood

figured out how to change to 10 btw  ^-^

I have excell 2007 if that makes any difference

See if this is what you wanted.

I have to show the 7 Numbers or Streets horizontally as they appear, spin by spin.

Cheers

Thank you very much for your help

there is something wrong on lines 10 and 11, just put number 1 instead of the first 34 - youll see it shows 8 numbers instead of 7

and it's not showing the newest numbers, ill try to explain better
when we input a number it should scan back includin that number and list the last unique x amount

for example see J28
it says 10,2,26,4,3,7,33 but it should say 8,10,24,0,4,36,2

hope you understand

I hate to be a pain in the a..

Still not sure what you want but try this sheet.

J28 now reads the way you want.

now it seems to be doing ok excpet when it has a repeat in the last 4

Oh, now i get why the confusion, my bad englsih, sry, sry, sry, sry

what I want it to show is the last 7 different numbers so if we have 15 numbers and only 7 of those are unique it should show only those 7

like this:

1
2
1
3
15
15
1
2
35
36
25
25
1
35
3

it would show 1,2,3,15,25,35,36 because that are the last 7 different numbers

and then if say number 18 comes out it would show 1,2,3,18,25,35,36 cause that are the last 7 different numbers

sry for the missunderstanding, here unique and different can mean the same thing, wasn't thinking in english
