Title: The TwoCat Riverwind Report
Post by: TwoCatSam on Feb 18, 03:05 PM 2015
Hi

Just returned from Riverwind where I played "Two's Company", "Tic Tac Toe" and that "Basil" thing of MR J's.

Wound up 302 units up.

Questions gladly answered.

hope you were playing with the black chips Sam...I guess the green ones would cover a tank of gas too

I would imagine you let them give you a buffet or two on top of the 300u

what a great day!

Awesome. I should learn these methods

Thanks, fellers.  At this point, I only play with quarters.  Still $75.50 was a good day.

No buffet but I learned how to get one and $20 to play on, too.

Lucky. The casino by me has a 10 dollar minimum on organic roulette

Understand, this is Roulette Evolution, an RNG device--not a real wheel.  While I have been told otherwise, I trust it to be a fair wheel.  During most of my time today, I was the only one playing.  Would not have been hard to scam me...

Hey, 302 units is a great day at the casino in anybody's book.  63 more units and you've won 1 unit for each day of the year.  I'd say dinner or no dinner, that's a good trip to the casino.

Of course, any time you play one of Mr J's thingy's, you've got a really good chance to walk away a decent winner.

On another note.  Regarding your signature.  What if cats and dogs don't go to the same place??

Tough decision, huh?

GLC

We decided to fly instead of drive back East, so we won't be in your neck of the woods this trip.

While thinking about Sam's winning session, I remembered the following advice I copied from a system I read a few years back.

I’d be willing to bet in most cases when you lose, it will have been you that failed yourself. Most of the time the biggest battle won’t be between you and the casino, it will be between you and yourself.

To win in the casino you must have the rest of your life in order.  Failure is not a single, cataclysmic event. We do not fail overnight. Failure is the inevitable result of an accumulation of poor thinking and poor choices. To put it more simply, failure is nothing more than a few errors in judgment repeated every day.

For some of us it's these bad habits that need to change, we make poor choices daily because we don't think that it matters. On their own, our daily acts do not seem that important. A minor oversight, a poor decision, or a wasted hour generally doesn't result
in an instant and measurable impact.  More often than not, we escape from any immediate consequences of our deeds.  In fact, sometimes these accumulated errors in judgment occur throughout a period of great joy and prosperity in our lives. Like eating the wrong foods or prolonging a doctor's physical or maybe bad habits like smoking cigarettes. Since nothing terrible happens to us,
since there are no instant consequences to capture our attention, we simply drift from one day to the next, repeating the errors, thinking the wrong thoughts, listening to the wrong voices and making the wrong choices.

Some of you might be saying what does this have to do with winning in the casino? It has a lot to do with it.  You see, no system will work without self-control or without making the right decisions. And I believe, as many will agree it starts with you as a whole person and how you handle your emotions.

There is good news, you can change, you can win, just like the formula for failure, the formula for success is easy to follow: It's a few simple disciplines practiced every day.

Now here is an interesting question worth pondering: How can we change the errors in the formula for failure into the disciplines required in the formula for success? The answer is by making "the future" an important part of our current philosophy. Both success and failure  involve future consequences, namely the inevitable rewards or unavoidable regrets resulting from past activities.

If this is true, why don't more people take time to ponder the future? The answer is simple: They are so caught up in the current moment that it doesn't seem to matter. The problems and the rewards of today are so absorbing to some people that they never pause long enough to think about tomorrow. Without focusing on your goals and consequences you will probably lose control and fail in the casino.

But what if we did develop a new discipline to take just a few minutes every day to look a little further down the road? We would then be able to foresee the impending consequences of our current conduct. Armed with that valuable information, we would be able to take the necessary action to change our errors into new success-oriented disciplines. In other words, by disciplining ourselves to see the future in advance, we would be able to change our thinking, amend our errors and develop new habits to replace the old. So you must
prepare yourself daily!

One of the exciting things about the formula for success, a few simple disciplines practiced every day is that the results are almost immediate. As we voluntarily change daily errors into daily disciplines, we experience positive results in a very short period of time. Which also will transform your play in the heat of the casino when you need it most.

When we change our diet, our health improves noticeably in just a few weeks. When we start exercising, we feel a new vitality almost immediately. When we begin reading, we experience a growing awareness and a new level of self-confidence. Whatever new discipline we begin to practice daily will produce exciting results that will drive us to become even better at developing new disciplines and certainly will help you in casino warfare.

The real magic of new disciplines is that they will cause us to amend our thinking. If we were to start today to read the books, keep a journal, quit smoking, eat better, listen more and observe more, this would help not only playing baccarat but would be leading you to a
better future. If we were to start today to try harder, and in every way make a conscious and consistent effort to change subtle and deadly errors into constructive and rewarding disciplines, we would never again settle for a life of mediocrity.

You must think and act like a winner to be a winner. Remember winners never deviate when off course nor do they quit. Your casino play can be what you want it to be. Take the days and sessions one at a time and you will make it through anything that comes along.

Nothing wastes more energy and zaps your will more than fear or worrying. The old saying is “IF” you can’t take the heat, then get out of the kitchen. This is also true when you’re gambling. If you can’t stay calm during the tough runs against you and veer off course, you
don’t belong in there and will never in the long run win.

So make those daily changes, one baby step at a time.  Only you know what they are, and start becoming a winner.

Share your successes with the rest of us.  We love to hear about winning.

Cheers,
GLC

Wow!!  GLC............

Words to live by!  So very true.

I did only one smart thing:  I did not chase a loss.  That was one of the hardest things for me to learn.  With this "Tic Tac Toe", it is easy to overlook where you should bet and sometimes you bet a number twice.  I failed to bet yesterday when I should have.  Once upon a time, I would have chased that loss.  Not anymore.

Thanks for that lengthy philosophical lecture.  I'll read it again.

Nice words George.
Our mechanical, almost clockwork looking universe lulls us into a false sense of security. Tomorrow seems very predictable...and it probably is.
I didnt mean probably as the everyday word but more probability.
I just read that a red dwarf star passed our solar system 70,000 years ago. Closer than 0.8 light years Thats close...
The future seems predictable...but it should always be treated with great respect.
Not just at a massive level (killer comets and the like) but at a microscopic one (Small decisions we make)

Well, carrying on.........

I have lived by two axioms:

1.  If you're failing to plan, you're planning to fail.

2.  You are where you are today because of decisions you made yesterday.

I added to the last one:  Let me make good decisions today so I'll be in a good place tomorrow.

Went down Friday morning.......

Played same three systems.  Got terribly bored.  Made mistakes.  Failed to bet twice on winners.  I have it figured out:

When you get really good at a system, you get bored.
When you get bored, you make mistakes.
When you make mistakes and lose money, you get mad.
Then you're not bored!!   ;D

Still won around $11 and should have won $40 or more...

Went to see "Still Alice" last night.  A must-see movie if you're over 65, I'd say.  It makes you wonder how much of your rock-headedness is from just being inattentive and how much is from the heavy metal clogging your brain.  Well, I should speak for Sam.

I am going to establish an almost military-like method of rechecking my bets before the 32 seconds elapses.

I've long heard people say, "Well, you're only human and humans make mistakes."  Would you like your brain/heart surgeon to adopt that attitude?

I vow to quit making mistakes.

Roulette mistakes can kill, no question but....... (I was sitting next to the wheel), I needed to make a "large" bet on the 19. I instead bet on the 16, the 6 upside down looks like a 9. I simply was not paying attention. Well, the 16 hit (lol), sometimes it works out.

Not to worry about the heavy metals.  I drink an 8 oz. glass of bentonite clay and water every day.  Plus, I also brush with a bentonite clay toothpaste, homemade.  Keeps flushing out those unwanted metals.  You should try it, you'll like it.

I might also mention that I went to a periodontist who said I had some teeth that were getting lose and needed to come out and some deep pockets that needed to be fixed.  And, of course, we need to replace the teeth with implants.  All this for only $20,000.  So I did some research and found out that I could use oregano oil, tea tree oil, clove oil and bentonite clay toothpaste to reverse most of the damage in my mount.  It also stops the inflammation and damage caused by bacteria.  I now use a periodontal toothbrush, a water pic and my special toothpaste followed by a quick brushing with my essential oil mixture and my gums and teeth have never been healthier.  The loose teeth are tightening up and my gums are totally healed with no inflammation.  My cavity has stopped growing and is actually getting smaller.  All this for a lot less than $20,000.  More effort of course, but worth it.

I can't tell you how many pieces of mail I've received from the dentist offering payment plans and discounts just to let him butcher my mouth.  No thanks.

Well done GLC, people should do much more research before submitting themselves to the dental butchers.

Google remineralising teeth and see all the alternatives that work.  Diet has everthing to do with health.  Coconut oil is one of the best substances known to man, yet most do not know anything about how good it is for us.  A tablespoon a day does wonders and it tastes GOOD.  :)

Nowun,  I'm with you on the coconut oil.  I keep a half gallon of it in the house at all times.  I love the taste and I cook with it most of the time.  I don't always get my tablespoon each day, but most days.  I tried doing oil pulling, but I've got a gag reflex against putting a spoonful of oil in my mouth.  I'm working on the remineralization diet along with everything else.  Cutting back on grains is the hard part for me.

OK, Gents...........hard to type this one!

Went to Riverwind yesterday.  Started early at around 8 and played until 3.  Trying to win enough for my wife and I to both win a buffet and $20 in bonus play for Wednesday.  I did both.

Worked very hard to not make any mistakes and only made a couple.

When I left the casino, I left my paper cash-out ticket in the machine.  Cost me dearly as it was gone by the time I got back.

QUESTION:  Could I have some form of A.D.D.?  Does anyone have any ideas of books or exercises which train the mind to concentrate?

This is getting annoying.

Sam,  I empathize with you.  At our age, the slightest distraction can cause us to walk out of a restaurant without paying the bill, leave our wives sitting at the table waiting for us to come back from the restroom and get all the way home before we realize what happened.  Once, I went to the casino for a couple of hours and on the way out to my car, I couldn't find my keys.  I went back and looked everywhere I had been to no avail.  I went out to the car and discovered that I had left them in the car with it running.  Good thing I had enough gas.  And nobody wanted to go for a joy ride.

It's kind of like a rattlesnake.  It can strike at any time but unlike a rattlesnake, no rattle!

The worst thing is that you probably had not just your winnings, but also your original buy-in on that ticket.  I don't suppose you went to the cage to see if some honest soul turned your ticket in?  Fat chance of that.

Don't let it get you down,
GLC

OK, I have my mind in order now.  Well, maybe..........

I am awaiting a diagnosis for prostate cancer; may have it, may not.  Could that be affecting my play?   ::)

Anyway, if I'm a goner, I need to have some fun before the final curtain, so I'm off to RW again tomorrow to try to play correctly.  I am convinced "Basil" and "Tic Tac Toe" are pretty near total winners.  My wife learned Tic and she is amazed at seeing single numbers hit.  I'll sprinkle Basil on her soon.

I simply must play "Two's Company" when I get up the nerve to risk around $140 for a total loosing run using quarters.  I'll have to get the diagnosis to play that one through!

I am sorry, but I am not convinced that
the old procedure of mine ("Tic Tac Toe" as you call it) is pretty near a total winner.
As long as you are having fun with it, I won´t spoil it.
Of course fear of a cancer diagnosis can be rather disturbing. Let us hope that you´ll get the answer soon. Time is still important.

When it comes to Health, we should not consider one single factor as a total Winner.
In my contry a female teacher of Transcendental Meditation had developed cancer. She believed in the ancient Health system from India called Ayur Veda;
and she refused to receive Western treatment. Unfortunately she died rather young.
Who knows what might have happened if she had accepted Western treatment?

Thank you, fellas.  As of today I'm clean; report came back negative.

I full well know I could be just seeing an anomaly that has lasted a year.  Yet, the thing wins.  Yesterday I had a terrible day--made tons of mistakes and my computer terminal went on the fritz.  Still I doubled my $40 to $80 with the two systems.  Went down to around $15 and won my way back to 80.  After my machine started working and I settled down.

I touched a man's bumper with mine in the parking lot and was called out for it.  Thought I'd never get loose from that officer even though there was NO DAMAGE!  Gave me sick stomach and the runs.  OR was it that burger??

Still won!!  Go figure...

If the weather permits, we will go back tomorrow as our bonus is a buffet each and each $20 in bonus money.  That's at least $50 right there.

I am going to begin testing that system of yours where a streets fills 1 2 3 and only six can fill without a repeater.  Remember?

Today I played five systems at once.  More than doubled my bankroll.  I've had some bad days testing new ideas which used a progression.  Today I flat bet with .50 bets.

The systems:

Tic Tac Toe
Liberty with a hint of Basil
A method with teeth
Numbers are repeating.

It is quite hard to keep all bets separate and bet correctly.  I missed three because of inattention.  Can't rest a minute!!

A Method with Teeth did quite well.  At Riverwind RNG there are many streets with two and they hit the third number quite often.

That's all....
