Title: Multiple Strategies
Post by: come_on_melb_ole on May 15, 01:11 AM 2015
Hi Guys,

I have been a secret guest and fan of this forum for some time  Cool forum by the way, I enjoy the read.

I would like everyones opinion about the way I approach Roulette. Firstly, I always play at a B&M Casino, never online. I play rapid roulette with a live dealer and my average visit (time) is tracking at 65 minutes. In a session, I change tables 3 times and leave as soon as I hit my target ($300).  I currently play 2 dozens per bet and have two triggers which I use to qualify a bet. I do use a three step Marty  :P but instead of aiming to win my original wager back when I loose a spin, I add an extra $10 profit per level. Greater risk, bigger reward. When I loose three bets in a row, I call it a day and put the cash I have remaining back into my bankroll. I have currently only lost once in my past eight visits. My aim is too increase my bankroll slowly enabling me increase my bet size whilst reducing my casino visit time.

Using this strategy, I have been quite successful. I do have a system which I play but it is not rigid. If I see trends in the numbers I will sometimes sit out and wait, change tables or increase my bet size. I am not a believer in a Holy Grail system but do honestly believe you can make long term profits with smart play and tight money management.

I currently use two triggers for bet selection, and change tables 3 times per visit to assist with not catching a string of losses. I am a believer that the longer you sit and play the same strategy, the more chance you have of failure. Does anyone else use multiple strategies to qualify a bet? In your opinion, does using a different strategy per bet increase the chances of winning in a real life situation, not against 1 billion spins on a spreadsheet. I was thinking of alternating between 4 different strategies to add more variation to my play, thoughts?

Hi, I remember one old man before some years ago who was playing beside me and have similar 2 dozens bet system. He was playing every day but he dont know when to leave table, after one year he lost everything, he lost his home and was sleeping in park, dont know where is he now :( . If you can control yourself it is good, know when to quit after loose is best thing you can do at this point. Welcome.

I also only play B&M and I play multiple strategies, but mainly on 1 dozen or column.
Keep doing what you're doing, if it's working well. :)

So I mixed things up a little yesterday and had some success. I ended up making a profit of $405 in 45 minutes which was my best session to date.

I ended up playing two strategies which I felt comfortable with. My BR for the day was $250 and did use a 6 step betting progression.
Let me know if you want hear more about my method which is made up of two simple methods I have read about online.

I have attached my progress chart for your reference.

Ok, here it goes......

So I track the dozens only. For my first bet of six in the progression I am tracking this sequence 1-2 , then 2-3 with a win or loss. When I  hit a loss in the sequence, I then wait for a win as a trigger for my bet, once a win occurs, I then start betting the sequence until a loss occurs ($10 on each D). I try to catch a trend and keep on betting the sequence until a loss, I go with the flow so to speak. When a loss occurs, I then switch to the next phase.

I also track which dozens are hitting for phase 2 of my strategy, which focuses on betting a single dozen. For this bet, I select a sleeper dozen and bet it until it hits using the following progression $15, $25, $40, $65, $100. Once a win is hit, I then go back to phase 1 and wait for an new signal.

Once I make a $100 profit, I switch tables. I also play for a maximum of 60 minutes. If my target is reached, I leave no matter how long I have played. I have attached my tracking sheet for your reference. You will notice squiggle lines, this indicates a table change.

Is this strategy perfect? no
Will it make you money when playing short sessions? yes

For this to work, you need to make the correct judgment calls and catch a little luck. This strategy will suit a more experienced player!

Hi Better 27,

Sorry for the late reply. I will not test against your data as there are specific components to this strategy which cannot be replicated with a your data set. The major two being that I change tables 3 to 4 times in a session and I also make a judgment call on which dozen I Marty against based on how the wheel and dealer are performing. I do favor the sleeping dozen on most occasions.

Since my last post, I am happy to report that I have had two additional winning sessions. Friday I won $250 in 31 minutes and today I won $210 in 43 minutes. What I can report is that this strategy does fail as I have reached my sixth level twice. So it is a matter of time before it fails but I will continue to make profits and take the losses when the come. I have currently generated $2750 in profits in 11 hours of play

I am currently using to strategies which seems to be doing OK but they are risky. What I am now looking for is to switch to a less risky strategy once I have reached 2/3 of my daily target. Any ideas?

ive read several threads in various roulette forums over the years from people who played two dozens a spin.every single one of them busted out in the end.so maybe just take the winnings now and stop this method  :)
