This thread will be an archive for the American 00 wheel. I play/test at Celtic Casino quite a bit nowadays and so will be able to upload around 100 spins at a time on a fairly frequent basis.
Anyone else is free to share their 00 numbers as well. The only thing is I prefer to them to be live spins. ie: either from your local B+M casino or an online outfit with live wheel similar to Celtic Casino.

Between spins 41 and 97 of that first batch... only 7 numbers in column A with 5 green as well.
In fact, the longest run in column A was at the very beginning with a run of three (19,4,4). After that, the next best were a couple of runs of two.

i have analyzed your 100 american wheel results
as follows:
column 1 - 19 times
column 2 - 29 times
column 3 - 45 times
0/00 - 7 times
see what i see? 2 and 3 respectively hit more then column 1, which is the anomaly i am studying on 00 wheel. absolutely, positively everything to do with wheel layout. so if someone asks why do you play column 2 and 3 just say "i am playing the wheel" 8) :thumbsup: :xd:
clever money management? column 2 and 3 may be a key here, well at least i believe so
hey its Armageddon outside what else should i be doing
p.s. the 5% house edge as opposed to euro house edge which is lower, eh doesnt bother me much, does not matter if the technique is solid

You are 100% correct. Beating the American 00 wheel is all to do with the wheel layout.

I will keep a tally of different stats as I put up more batches of 100 numbers. These particular 100 spins validated your theory. On a personal level, I never go into a session with a fixed way of playing. I like to see how things unfold and go with the flow. Now on saying all that and from what I have seen over the last 6 weeks....the 00 wheel is a completely different entity compared to the single 0 European wheel. In fact, I will say that I would now always choose the 00 as my first preference.

So flat bet 1unit on each dozen, dozen 2-3, 1unit both zero's, that would be 4 units, total 400 out, 74 wins return 222, 7zeros return 252, so +74. Could it be that easy

Yeah +1/-1 does seem to work,on KTF that run has been out this world, i'm only recording and showing how it works.
What do we want in Roulette, something that is simple, like betting 2 dozens, or in the Case of KTF just bet the non hit of the mat,simple.

So column 1 and the 2 zeros account for 40 of the spins.
The covering the zeros,personally i wounld not bother,so that would reduce the flat bet to $200, and a - $20

with out do the sums, i dont think +1/-1 could handle these numbers, it nearly equates to column 1 and the zeros hitting nearly every other spin
So this shows distribution of the columns makes no difference if play col 2-3 only and 1 so spread out.
Perhaps using your split wheel,betting 1 side might be better as if you could see when 1 of dozens 2 or 3 sleep, you could switch sides

positive progression with the 2 and 3 streaks can mean in and out fast
i see this being very nice...unless of course there is an overwhelming series of 1s time after time, but due to 00 wheel layout, doubtful

Max run i have seen is 3 in a row on celtic for col 1. So if you are a risk taker and play 1 3 9 it has been safe after a col 1 hit trigger

If you bet column A for a spin after it appeared, you are down -13 units.
If you bet column B for a spin after it appeared, you are down -17 units.
If you bet column C for a spin after it appeared, you are up +15 units.
Be interesting to see how long the C holds up for. Some kind of positive progression on the C could be worth looking at if it proves to be superior long term. Just two wins returns 8/1. Three 26/1. So far there is a run of 4, a run of 5 and a run of 6 on the C. So that would be three lots of 26/1 returning 78 units but costing 58 units. So a profit of 20. Mind you, I can't see the C performing better than A and B by 50% forever.

Hello RG, I am wondering if you can dampen the variance by playing the extremes. Say you wait for a run of 4 in any column and then bet for it not to go to 5. They are 4 runs of 4 so far and so you would have won 4 times and lost the other 2 times when C went to runs of 5 and 6. So that fell right in line with expectation. But that can be handled no problem with a progression. The question is like I say, will you get better variance or are you wasting your time sitting out all the other spins in what really equates to a 1/2 bet. I hope that makes sense.

Bet AB, if lose twice in a row switch to BC, if lose twice in a row back to AB, etc. Testing the waters. So if betting AB, you must lose twice in a row before you switch to betting BC, then stay on BC until lose twice in a row again, then back to AB. Using a non aggressive leveller. progression of 1 and then 2 and stay at 2 until back even.

RG, Member 'Number 6' had a thread in his 'law of the third' blog over at VLSroulette where he bet splits as they appeared. Now let's suppose you just bet the splits from columns B and C as they appear. If a column A number appears, you stop and wait for a Column B or C number to appear again and then start betting from that one split again and progress as long as the columns B and C continue.
The splits would be...

5. 14-15

the columns ideas im tinkering with now are my matrix and taminos way
how I am currently testing on celtic live american wheel (successfully i might add) is:
1 -bet 3 times against the column 9 back on the marquee (my matrix), after 3 times then:
2 -taminos way, if red was the last outcome bet columns 1 and 3 and if black was the last outcome bet columns 1 and 2, do this 3 times. wash, rinse, repeat
testing with a 1 2 progression. flat bet, on a loss increase chip size by double, if lose back to 1, if win back to 1
the more I mess around with this the more I look forward to sitting at the end of the table out of everyones way ;)

I did write an MM plan on another forum a few years ago for double dozens. It might work really well on the 00 wheel if you play it when the A column is just getting single hits between Column B and C.

There are three steps to this.
Step 1 is a parlay attempt.
So I am looking for two consecutive hits on the double dozens. A loss on the first or second bet is a complete loss.
example:
1a) Bet 1 unit on 1st dozen and 1 unit on 2nd dozen.
if win....
1b) Bet 1.5 units on 1st dozen and 1.5 units on 2nd dozen.
so.....
L is a total loss.
WL is a total loss.
WW is a win and move on to Step 2.
Step 2 is a possible two step progression.
1a) Bet 0.75 units on 1st dozen and 0.75 units on second dozen. (if win, move to step 3)
if I lose the above bet.....
1b) Bet 1.50 units on 1st dozen and 1.50 units on second dozen. (if win, move to step 3)
A loss on 1b is a total loss.
Step 3 is a possible two step progression.
1a) Bet 0.75 units on 1st dozen and 0.75 units on 2nd dozen. (if win...end of game!)

Hello Notto, yes...I am playing a session every evening but sometimes a game is short and so I didn't think it would be worth it sticking up the 14 spins from last night. I will keep the short sessions as well and bundle them up in batches and let you guys know if they came from different sessions/days. If I have a session lasting 30-40 spins, I don't mind waiting for an extra 10 spins because I won't get logged out. But trying to record 30-35 spins if you are not playing is a nightmare.

For outside positions EC, Dozens, or Columns it does not matter to me if it is a single 0 or 0/00 wheel. However for inside play it does matter. There my preference lies with the 0/00 wheel.
PS some of,my bet selections for the 0/00 wheel would be a disaster for my bankroll playing them at a single 0 wheel.

I am testing some stuff at the moment out of Roy Ward Dickson's book ''How to win at roulette and blackjack'' A lot of people are familiar with his hot number strategy...but he also has a few chapters on the dozens/columns and something he calls 'strip and run play'. I will write up his ideas regarding these tonight. I looked at all this years ago and tested it on the single 0 wheel. I think Roy was Canadian and so probably intended it for the 00 wheel where things do tend to behave a bit differently IMO. The hot number strategy could be played on either 0 or 00...but maybe his dozens/columns and strip and run play works best on the 00.

If you was wondering why i stopped at spin 40, its because spins 11-40 gave 18 non hit, so + the 9 from the 1st 10 spins, makes it 27 of the 38 gone.
At 60th spin usually see 30 non hits so with 20 spins to come you might only have 3 more non hit, so why bother.

One thing I noticed that's
really important for longer term success is that you can ride the waves of variance a lot easier on the 00 compared to the single 0 playing the inside. I have to be very careful on the single 0 and pick my spots. I can play the 00 just about every other spin and pretty much stay level until a win streak gains me a few units and then I can quit the session. I can only put it down to the arrangement of numbers on the 00 which makes the game more player friendly when attempting to follow the flow of numbers.

One thing I noticed that's really important for longer term success is that you can ride the waves of variance a lot easier on the 00 compared to the single 0 playing the inside. I have to be very careful on the single 0 and pick my spots. I can play the 00 just about every other spin and pretty much stay level until a win streak gains me a few units and then I can quit the session. I can only put it down to the arrangement of numbers on the 00 which makes the game more player friendly when attempting to follow the flow of numbers.

I was spending a bit of time looking at the stats from the 700 spins I have recorded up to now.
Column A came up once 108 times and twice 24 times. So 108/24 = 4.5
Column B came up once 103 times and twice 27 times. So 103/27 = 3.8
Column C came up once 111 times and twice 37 times. So 111/37 = 3
This is why I suggested hunting down the combination ACC on the 00 wheel based on those stats. Any three column combo will return 26/1 for a 1 unit stake.

Rich, I just played it tonight to see what happened. The flow of this wheel over the last few weeks is leaning towards AAC....so I played it as a sidebet along with my other stuff. Luckily it worked. Would I play it as a stand alone strategy? I got to be honest mate and say no because I think you could be a sitting duck. But...if someone did decide to do it, then I think you need to give yourself 100 units to try and ride out a bad spell. A lot of these ACC hits tend to bunch up just like hot numbers do.

Based on my real play/testing on the 00 wheel compared to the single 0, I am noticing a big difference in the volatility. Like I said to Nathan, I need to be careful on the single 0 and pick my spots more carefully. The 00 allows me to play with a bit more freedom and the swings are less. So I can only put that down to the arrangement of the wheel layout. If that changes, I will say so....but so far, so good. My strategy is all based around going with the flow. There is nearly always something happening more than it should or something happening less than it should. It can come in many guises, but like I also previously said, the 00 wheel is less of a headache (also to do with the layout IMO).
So because I bet only a few spots (up to 12 numbers) a couple of wins can take me into a quick profit because of the lower volatility. I just rinse and repeat as often as I can until I am happy or tired. Hey, there is nothing new under the sun. It's how you read what's unfolding and how you react to it. I think that's why a lot of guys get stuck. They are looking for ABC. Unfortunately, you may be getting served up XYZ. If you can't see it and react to it, you are going to lose.

That's the table layout with the 0 and 00 at the top, not the wheel layout. The wheel layout on the 00 is where the action is. Don't take my word for it, study it compared to the single 0 and you will see differences. I bought both Kimo Li books last year (American and European) and studied them. Along with some of my own ideas and what was in the books and then RG mentioning about the columns on the 00 wheel made me delve deeper into the 00 wheel and my hard work is paying off....so far. Too early to really say 100% I suppose. But results count.

on the american wheel its easier to play the wheel with columns 2 and 3 based on how the columns are set up on the wheel
in and of itself euro wheel is obviously the better option but the way the american wheel has columns laid out makes it easier

I would agree if all 12 numbers from a column OR dozen were all next to each other on the wheel, side by side, but for BOTH 0 and 00, they are spread out pretty good. How/why would the inventor (or casino) of either wheel place the numbers accordingly so YOU benefit?

I do pretty good on the single 0, but my results are better on 00 and volatility less. So I would be silly not to play it. In fact I have only travelled to the B+M casino twice this year. Although it's early yet. :xd:

But here is my point. If you play short sessions (average 30 spins) the 00 extra pocket isn't going to affect things too much.
Then we could get into a conversation about 'hit and run' but I don't want to derail the thread. However I will say as far as I am concerned that the more numbers you start recording, the harder it is going to get for you to make sense of it all and come out ahead. That's all I am saying on it, lol. Everyone can believe or play how they like. Makes no difference to anyone else right? All that matters is the end result.

I was having a look at a bit of software again today that a poster called 'droidman' made on the old VLS Forum. It was made for reading the crossings on Winkel's G.U.T. don't know if you ever had a look at it or not...but I am studying it to try and get a better understanding and learn how to read the trots. I will probably start a separate thread on it.
No 00 spins for the next few days because I am going to withdraw my winnings from Celtic and start again. One of my golden rules of online play is never to reverse winnings. If they decide to take 5 days to pay me....then they won't be getting any of my action for 5 days. Simples. :)

only looked at one,seemed to only show when the crossing was there, But as i'm in the betting shop i'm hardly going to get a laptop out, so i made a paper tracker. Helped me with the trot,striking the line through num left/non hit (0X) to 1X, then through the >1 to 2x.

wiggy, notto: my quest on columns (american wheel) continues
I am trying a new technique to betting 2 columns at the same time and it is working very well. time will tell if its luck. im testing live wheel, not zumma or RX
bet the last column to hit and the sleeper column (sleeper column being the 3rd column in the history to hit, so if its 1 1 3 1 3 2 we would bet 1 and 2)
maybe a tiny bit confusing at first, the only rule is bet the last column to hit and the sleeper column
i am using FUN money, so using 1 3 9 progression for the hell of it. never went past 3 (step 2) in 30 minutes......
its a "playable" technique. Easy to play live dealer. bet every spin. no pen or paper.
started at 1,000 ended at 1,500 using $25 chips. quick 20 unit gain :thumbsup:

In photo live dealer example look at top left, thats the columns as they hit, newest up top

Hello RG, cheers for posting up your idea. One thing I noticed several years ago was how you can go on some really long winning runs with either the sleeping dozen/column appearing. One small tweak could be to monitor both dozens and columns and play your idea on the dozen or column which has the longest sleeper.

RG, just as an aside.....I have always thought that several people who comment in the chat at these casinos actually work for the casinos.
Think about it....you are doing your brains in losing hundreds/thousands and someone comes on saying they are losing thousands. It kind of makes the 'real' players who are losing think they are not the only one.

RG, Here is my tweak to your idea.
These are the first few spins in the American Zumma.
You can see on spin 5 that Column C is the furthest back if you combine both the dozens and columns. So I am taking it that you would bet Column C as the furthest back and Column B as the last one to appear.
Number 6 comes next and so it's a win on the furthest back Column. Like I said, I see this happen a lot. Could be a nice little tweak. I will run a few tests and see how it goes.

The bottom number is the latest in these screenshots.
So on spin 16, Column A is the furthest back out of both the dozens and columns. So it's a bet on Column A and Column C which is the most recent. Another win because number 34 comes out belonging to Column A.
Obviously there is no bet if you get both a Dozen and Column as the equal furthest back.

Finally, you can see how when number 32 appeared on spin 19, that now the bet switched over to the dozens because Dozen 2 is the furthest back between the Dozens and Columns. So it was a bet on Dozen 2 and Dozen 3. Dozen 1 appeared (number 5) still leaving Dozen 2 as the furthest back. So now the new bet is the Dozen 2 and Dozen 1 because Dozen 2 is still the furthest back and Dozen 1 is now the most recent.

Yes, that's right. All I am really doing with the tweak is waiting for the sleeper to be the longest sleeper between either the dozens and columns. So it's exactly the same except for that.

Playing how i suggest is not for long term play
ND - get in. Get up. Get out
It doesnt change the house edge
It just exploits the rarer event of the 2nd column to show to repeat over and over again. Which it will but we temporarily take advantage of it
Betting the most recent and the sleeper takes advantage of 2 scenarios as they can often streak and the sleeper will eventuallly awake
The 20 unit win last night was simply flawless.

Long term, there are 37/38 numbers on a 0/00 wheel. They will mostly be a sleeping dozen at the end of a 37 spin cycle. This leaves around 25 originals and they will be around 12 repeats consisting of doubles and trebles+. The trick/skill is how you can isolate those 12 repeats without going gung ho because you really need to find a way to win flat betting or as close to it. Anything else related to boom/bust progressions will eventually wipe your BR out. Let's face it, there is no simple way or roulette wouldn't exist. Really just my 2 cents for when you really get down to the nitty gritty of it all.
What this will do is guarantee that you won't bet on any sleepers in the 37 spin cycle and you can then start a fresh cycle from scratch and go again.

Some people will tell you the LOTT does not work. Others will tell you it's the holy grail like an Italian guy called Ludducci or something along those lines selling expensive systems.
The answer is somewhere in the middle. On its own, I don't suppose it's of much use. As part of a framework, it can help you in making decisions which in my personal experience can help you overcome the house edge on both 0 or 00 wheels. It takes a lot of work.

Often enough to bust your bankroll if you decide to use a progression betting all the 2 hits. :P
I don't know why, but it seems to be most players natural instinct to go for the 3rd hit (see XXXV's WF3 theory)
But there are cycles which will occur close together where you get loads of doubles and no 3rd hit.
It makes more sense to me to look for the second hit because you know you are going to get some of them every cycle.

If you have Roulette xtreme there is a coded system called ball24. Was coded around 2007 by Rafin if my memory serves me well.
Its what you describe.

If 4 is spun...it had a chance of 1/37 to show. On the next spin....all numbers have the same chance of coming out including the 4.
It has no memory. It doesnt think "I best pick something other than 4'
It doent think....period.
And we fixate on 4 followed by 4 as being rare and only happens every 1371 spins.
Thing is if the spins were 4, 33 and not 4, 4 we would think it wasnt rare.
But if we checked millions of spins we would find, on average, that 4, 4 had happened every 1371 spins but so had 4, 33
In this way, we post images of marques with 4, 4, 4, 4 and say "look what I saw"
And its rare. Once every 1.8 million rare. But the next 4 unremarkable numbers on your picture...say 16, 22 23, 1 ....well you would see that number sequence every 1.8 million too.

Non hits first RG, when we start theres 37 non hit, get the win on the nonhit then the repeats.
In gut look at this sheet. Winkels 13th 26-9-2-2 is spot on, then 25th 18/19- 14/15- 03/05 is the next spin i left the shop with the winnings so we will never know, but if i was going to bet i'd rebet the 1X+>1x as we've had 9 non hit in 14 spins
